Martin. Be a man, do the right thing for the club and resign as manager.

Don't get me wrong, the change in fortunes has been unforgivable to the extreme. It has been like night and day this season. Reaching beyond our wildest dreams to drop like a stone so hard that some fans are considering not coming back. That would be devastating if it were true but I think our fans have thicker skins than they care to admit. Clearly Canning is the manager regardless of opinion. So where do we go from here? It very much depends on what type of player we can attract next season. Another Alex Neil type midfielder and a decent striker and we could possibly survive the Premiership. Lets not forget where we are because the highs have most certainly brought expectation our way.

why isn't he currently at Norwich (like Frankie).

(In tiny mitigation) we lost Andreu in the afternoon of the final transfer window day, though, as our best influential player, the BOD should have had the foresight to consider that Alex Neil would take him to Norwich, and have had some replacement in the wings. Hendrie's deal to WHU was already done at that stage so there WAS money available, whether £400K or £1M.
Nice guy that MC might be, he had demonstrated that he has no management ability to introduce new ideas and tactics. McKinnon is quoted in the Sun today as 'we are training the same as before'. That is EXACTLY the issue. Teams had sussed us out and with a weakened side missing Curier and Andreu, they knew how to eliminate any threat we had before.
Martin Canning must know that he has let himself down, his BOD down, and all who support Accies. Anyone else in this situation, would relinquish his appointment NOW to avoid collateral damage to any future employment in football. This is a fundamental action. It will allow some immediate planning for our second, and hopefully not our last, season in the SPL with a management team with some track record of sucess.
Despite enjoying days out at Glebe Park, Station Park, Somerset Park, etc. etc., I have no desire to be returning there in the next couple of years!!
Like everyone else, and even with the possibilty of finishing our previous best "seventh" place, I see this as a desperately poor finish to the season.

Perhaps not and the second half has indeed been a major disappointment.
However, it looks likely we will retain top flight status for only the third time in a lifetime, and that all three such retentions have been under the current regime.

We have avoided relegation and blooded a new manager so we can start next season strongly and with some new better players. Stop blaming canzo and the board as its the players who have lost the games nobody else.
