Mother smell v the real hoops

Postby Bluesy » Fri Feb 12, 2021 12:09 pm

Really looking forward to this.

O’Donnell in the paper today saying Accies will see a very different Motherwell team. I think they’re very confident.

McMann had him on toast the last time and if Scott Martin was fit to take Trafford’s place I’d be really confident.

0-1 (Anderson)

Well we certainly will be seeing a different goalie for them which is a pity  Which Accies team will turn up I have no idea. If we have turned a corner with the arrival of Bruce then a narrow 1 - 0 for us.

We’ve a good record against them recently, especially at Fir Park.
A derby win would make up for the disappointment of RC last week.
Same attitude as v Rangers and we may well return with the points.
Here’s hoping

15 mins in and we've had Motherwell pinned, could easily have had another 2, poor defensive header falls to Anderson on the 18 yard line and shot blocked or was going in but big mario had a free header centre of the goal 8 yards out and looked like it hit his shoulder. Knows he should've scored.

Stonewall pen and O'Donnell rightly off, cross to the back stick and pulled back

2-0 oooooooft

I think I’m watching a parallel universe. Must be Cos the commentary team aren’t bad either.

Bizarre it of refereeing for the penalty, ref allowed him to take and he scored then made him retake it cause O'Donnell was still strolling off the park, nearly missed it 2nd time around.

Crossing from hodson from the right has been excellent, another 1/2 chance for Anderson with a header again from 8/9'yards out.

Watt and McGuire throwing themselves to the ground at every opportunity and the ref is buying it. Big mario had a go at him and booked for dissent and rice took him off straight away for moyo.

4-0 great cross by Mcmann and moyo with probably his 1st touch got across his man in the 6 yard box.

Probably first time accies have been in the Motherwell half 2nd half as been quite conservative 2nd half by not overcommitting.

Blimey! If we beat them for a fourth time after the split do we get to keep them? *Muttley style snigger*

Haven't seen any of it yet so got the red wine ready for Alba at six. Well done BBC, two derby thrashing covered in a row.

And well done Brian Rice. You should have been sacked after Stranraer but we all want you to succeed.

Absolutely fantastic.

Great decision by Rice to take big Oggie off when he was booked and still showing red mist.

The 2 strikers should also be fit for Wednesday.

Commentary was great and agreed with their praise of Odoffin. He was magnificent

Three wins in a row at Fir Park. Surely we've made history today?

And four wins and a 0-0 draw in the last five meetings with the Smell only scoring twice!
