Accies v Arabs

Postby TerracingTomas » Wed Jan 13, 2021 1:15 pm

I know everyone’s champing at the bit to comment so here we go. I’m assuming this game goes ahead but I would not be surprised if the season is suspended or even cancelled shortly. Therefore it’s vital we remain in at least the play off place. I assume if cancelled then same as last year no play offs and the team at the bottom gets relegated. The news that Temps, Lewis and Will Collar won’t play this season sent a cold shiver down my spine. I wonder if we will ever see Temps or Collar play for us again? No signings so far and I’m not optimistic. Off the field I find it increasingly worrying that there isn’t a peep out of Ronnie/Les or Maitland. As to the game itself Another draw prediction from me.

Yes agreed TT.
We need signings, my fear is that our Board wont see any value in signing anyone while all signs read that we are about to shut down.
Regarding the game, just stay in 11th place at all costs, hopefully we will have a striker available this week, Moyo or Winter cant fill the role. Only goal threat we have is Callaghan or set pieces.
Any of our outfield injury list being available would be a major boost.

Don't think so, Begs, when those about us are getting wins. County will be galvanised by Yogi... wait and see. Don't expect Well to get anything from Sevco, but thereafter with a new manager they might also stretch their legs a bit.
Of course, if the league is called off early... then what is our points per games so far in relation to anyone else? Any Stattos please respond :?

Accies 19 points from 23 games is 0.82 PPG

M/well 18 points from 21 games is 0.85 PPG

As a famous game show host once asked "What do points make?"

Not prizes clearly, BW!! As it seems from the stats, we'd be relegated as things stand?
