Aberdeen and Covid

Postby TerracingTomas » Fri Aug 07, 2020 3:57 pm

I’ve read that all 8 Aberdeen players caught up in this stushie will still be self isolating by next Wednesday and beyond. Hopefully the game goes ahead so we can play whatever team they can field. It’s not Accies fault and if it is rearranged we suffer having to play potentially 4 Games in a very short time period.

Update: Apparently confirmed by the “authorities” that it will go ahead. Hopefully we give them a going over.

I think Aberdeen will only be missing 2 or 3 first team regulars.

Add a “siege mentality” and they may not be significantly weakened. Our only saving grace is they could have one eye on their next game v Celtic.

I’d take a draw right now.

Lol wut? They are already without considine and cosgrove due to suspension and injury. Now Hayes, Devlin, McKenna, Kennedy, Bryson, McGeouch and Anderson.

That is literally 9 first team players. Including 3 centre backs and both of their strikers. They’ll still pump us but come on do a bit of research.
