Or do Dundee need to vote again?

If the season played out what would your bottom 4 look like and be honest.

Hearts 36
St Mirren 34
Us 33
Ross co 31

Genuinely believe we have dodged one big time. Not scared of anyone in the championship but still would’ve been a cagey game like utd a few years back

Have a day off .. have a lie doon ... have a pint .. get your hole ...

For being finished with SPFL .. your still having a hissy fit .....

And as for your finishing positions in the league ?
So not only would Hearts go on the best run they’ve had for 18 months , but the 3 other teams would have to lose most of ( all ?) their remaining games ???

Almost as farcical as the SPFL voting ....

Going on recent form over the last 5,10 & 15 games gives the following:

Hamilton - 1.6pts
Hearts - 1pt

Last 10 Games (Average points gained per game)
Kilmarnock - 1pt

Last 15 Games (Average points gained per game)
Kilmarnock - 0.73pts

Final table based on last 5 games form
St Mirren 40

Ross County 35
Hearts 31

Final table based on last 10 games form
Kilmarnock 41

Good Statto work, RHF.

We should also give credit to our (often maligned on here) Head Coach Brian Rice, for both motivating and selecting the right players in these critical last few games, for our usual dogfight to secure Premiership footy for yet another season.

Think we rode our luck though, with no play-off against ICT.

Bearing in mind we were getting back to a fully fit squad and were gaining confidence I think we would have avoided the play offs in any case.

Now it's just the simple task of re-assembling a squad for next season.

Good stats RHF but one thing you might’ve overlooked is goals scored. I know it’s all hypotheticals but the last 10 games only Celtic scored more goals than hearts but hearts also conceded the most.

They keep a clean sheet then totally different league. All hypothetical.

It’s been very fine margins. Accies don’t win back to back v rangers/killie and we’re down. And if hearts had beat st Mirren 1-0 in that rearranged midweek game instead of the other way around then st Mirren would’ve been down on goals scored.

But ultimately F*** the Jambos

I think Hearts needed a 2-0 win over St Mirren to come off the bottom.

In the last 10 games nobody conceded more goals than Hearts with 18 which was matched by Killie & Ross County. Accies conceded a mere 17!

Over the last 5 games Hearts conceded the most goals (10).
Over the last 15 games Hearts conceded the most goals (26).

Coincidentally this was matched by Ross County, so I'd say those two were the most likely to fill the bottom two positions if form was going to have anything to do with it!

Our target wasn't avoiding Hearts but getting above St.Mirren and Ross County which I am sure we would have done.

A team who had only won four games all season and who never had a shot on target at St.Mirren were not going to catch an Accies team who they could not defeat at home when we had 10 men for nearly 70 minutes.

They were doomed and Ross County were the only side likely to be near them as both Accies and St.Mirren were starting to pull rabbits out the hat.

Fact is if we had kept 11 men on the pitch at Tynecastle,we would have finished them even then as we would have scored more goals that day.
