From the Scotsman in June 2019:
Kilmarnock majority shareholder Billy Bowie believes the Rugby Park club have the best manager in the Scottish Premiership following the appointment of Angelo Alessio.

The Italian was formally unveiled at a media conference on Thursday after agreeing a three-year contract as successor to Steve Clarke at Kilmarnock.

Killy's cost of this ruinious exercise will be another reason why our BOD will probably need to see BR out his contract at Accies. Killy have far deeper pockets than we have.

Have not heard many call for his head, YET.

But lose the next 3 games, and that is a strong possibility, then the calls for him to go will increase. At the moment his win ration is as bad a s Cannings

I would back BR far more if he stuck, or actually returned to, the attacking principles he arrived with. His problem, and Canning's before him, is that we are so crushingly poor to watch because we seem to want not to lose rather than to try and win. Once we go behind, the plan is buckled and we aren't capable of changing it. He has turned into Canning mark II and I for one am getting bored as this approach clearly does not work. Change back, and even if his win ratio doesn't improve, I'd still be behind him. Otherwise we are going down with a whimper.
On the outskirts of nowhere, on the ring road to somewhere, on the verge of indecision, I'll always take the roundabout way.

Decent performance from Hearts against Celtic tonight. If only Hearts could play a team who love gifting games to teams who need a result. :? :?

Well 2 wins and 6 points from the 3 games. Some of the play has been woeful, some of it mediocre and some of it judging by comments today Barcelonesque. So what are we thinking. Rice now saying there might be 1/2 signings so have we turned a corner or are we likely to come back from the break and fall foul of Edinburgh City?

I hope we take the cup seriously and play our strongest team. At the moment that definitely includes Moyo! After that, it gets tough. Hibs away midweek, home to Livingston, who are in some form and due to beat us. If we can win at Well then there is no reason why we can't take something from Easter Road. I hope Stubbs throwing his shirt to the crowd yesterday was just exuberance and not a sign that he's going back to Middlesbrough.

next 2 away games could define the season.

Away to st mirren midweek Wednesday the 5th February

Away to hearts Saturday the 15th February.

And with Celtic and aberdeen in between we could easily be bottom coming away from tynecastle with only Ross county away being the last easiest game on paper before the split.

10 games to the split and not looking good.

And today's results are another nail in the coffin. Hearts will pull away from the last spot with their new signings, and St Midden are able to grind out a result, where we cannot hold a lead to save ourselves.

What was it Pvt. Fraser said ????
