You can't point a finger at the club and say your responsible for what someone posts on socal media or their 'dietary' preferences but you can point a finger at how the club is run off the field. I heard someone who had some genuine knowledge describe it at the time of the bank account scam as a ‘shambles". Stories like these reflect that IMO not a lot has changed for the better since then. Individuals tasked with running the ‘business', are more interested in feathering their own nests than the club and its reputation. I suspect our ‘current' kitman was appointed on the basis of who he knew at the club rather than through any professional recruitment exercise. Sadly I dont see things changing and you can expect more negative headlines over time as a result. Next up remember the company that HopeCBD were going to stand aside for so the stadium could be renamed in a £750,000 deal?
I think I recall at one of the fans forums Ronnie or les mentioning the players and staff sign a social media agreement thing basically not to say anything that is going to bring the player/ club into disrepute. Surely the staff have to sign one too and as such this can be viewed as gross misconduct.
IMO the guy seemed a bit of a tosser anyway, on his now deleted Twitter was always mentioning Celtic.
If only there was an available respected kitman out there who knows the club well and majority of players well and always did a good job. Any ideas........
