Massive game for both teams, almost a play off but we’ve got the benefit of a second chance next week v County.
Hopefully that doesn’t mean we’re complacent like last year’s post split games.

I've just seen confirmation on the SFA suspensions list that we'll be without Rojano and MacKinnon for this one.

Soma yellow card 4 games ago v killie on 31st March doesn’t kick in till 4 games later?

HTF does that work out?

Probably Jenkins in for McKinnon is one enforced change. Rojano has hardly had a sniff last 5/6 games so not as big a miss

Wonder what madcap formation and team selection Martin will dream up this time?
No doubt bombscare Sarris will be first on the teamsheet again.
As good as a goal start for Thistle.
Pardon the negativity but another big factor is they'll be busting a gut to do it for Lambie.
After all, despite his obvious success at Accies over the years,John let it be known to everyone that Thistle were his love.As he was perfectly entitled to.

Just watched a dvd of the Accies v Dundee United game played on our return to the Top flight under Billy Reid. Some performance that night. I’d forgotten how good some of our football was. Not expecting the same quality, apart from Temps the team doesn’t have it but 3 points for us kills Patrick IMO and sets us up nicely. Come on Accies get tore in.

Dream on.
They'll be well up for it and Martin's Misfits will be in typically depressing form.
For what it's worth I hope I'm wrong but if I wasn't an Accies fan I'd be lumping a wedge on Thistle at Paddypower.

Last time we won at Firhill,Jason Scotland scored the winner which shows how bad our record there is.

As others have said, they will be well up for it due in part to "the Lambie effect" and what should have been a game where we were comfortably in front has turned into a look over our shoulders game.

All our recent problems for me stretch back to changing a winning defence at Perth and shoehorning Imrie/Sarris into the team come what may.

I wouldn't be surprised if we lose this, win v Ross County/Dundee and then suffer our usual defeat to St.Johnstone which may or may not be enough,Motherwell game notwithstanding.

I wouldn't be surprised if we lost this, lost to Ross County.
Then lost to Dundee.
Followed by a loss to St Johnstone and then maybe a loss to THAT lot on the final day to really rub it in.
But hey,all is not lost.
We'll come straight back up again next season with Mighty Martin at the helm.
I've really lost it now!

Why all the fear about Partick and their supposed "Lambie effect"?

This is a must-win for them, and they'll be very nervous. They'll know what it'll mean to them to lose. If we can set out to attack them and get an early goal, it could just finish them. The first goal in this game will be priceless, and we're well capable of scoring it - then watch their heads go down. They're bottom for a reason.

We're overdue a win at Firhell. Accies to win, 2-1.

Ironic or fate that Thistle play Accies in such a massive game for both teams in the week of John Lambie’s funeral.
He started the rivalry by jumping ship between us. Let’s show everyone that it’s Accies not Thistle who’re staying up :)

Hate going to firhill as we don't have much luck. Can't see that changing today and will get pumped 3-0.

Any word on Martin's Selection Bingo yet?
I go for a 3/6/1 with Darren Lyon as the lone striker.
