Massive win to take into the break. Very good turnaround in the second half after a shaky first period.

We're six points better off than we were at the same number of games last season.

Last night I put £3 on Motherwell to finish bottom at 33/1. Wishful thinking I thought. Now? It's a cracking price.

Great result. Clear signs of Canning showing his worth by bringing about the change in the second half. Well done boys.

Well done lads, great result.
Anyone else old enough to remember our 4-2 new year Victory when Albert Craig scored all 4?
Youngsters take note this is a very special Accies era you have been born into. Happy new year.

Yep was at that game and also old enough to remember beating them 3-1 at Fir Park on New Year's Day in either late 70s or early 80s and a famous 3rd goal for Accies when their keeper Hugh Sproat made a balls of it coming up for a corner and we broke away for Neil Howie to score.Quality!
Also 2 nil down at half time at ODP and came back to win with a late Dennis McQuaid winner 3-2.
Best ever Derby come back I remember was 3-1 down to Airdrieonians at ODP at half time to win 4-3.Class!
(That was a right good Diamonds team at that time and included the prolific Sandy Clark in one of his last games before a big money move to West Ham Utd)
FTW.

Yes, me too. Craig sold immediately after the game to Newcastle (?) for some "big" money for Accies, and did nothing else in his footballing career quite as spectacular as that day.
Crowd singing " Oh what fun it is to beat, the Well on News Years Day" to Jingle Bells. Happy memories, and yesterday's comprehensive beating of the Well on their own patch is another one.

Roll on the Cup tie. Should be very tasty!

No, that game alerted Newcastle to Craig, his last game was the cup win at Ibrox. Famously that eleven never played together again.
