Boardroom Changes

Postby accie » Mon Dec 04, 2017 9:36 pm

Seems strange that the guy who was supposedly looking to finalise a takeover of Airdrie before Christmas is now an Accies board member.

Colin McGowan tried to broker a deal for his 2 pals to buy the shares from Tom Wotherspoon at Airdrie, deal falls through last minute due to Airdrie fans revolt on now seem we have them on our board of directors now with 2 stupid made up titles given. Just wish to f**k mcgowan would do more for the football club rather than make money for his pals.

Could this be a much needed cash injection, given the fiasco of the 'missing monies now allegedly in China"??
Would be interesting to hear what the Chief Executive's take on that is, though. :?

Does anyone know what happened to Dave McKinnon? I didn't see his name mentioned in the clubs Statement on Boardroom Changes.

Reading the statement online, surely we need more info than that? Who are these guys? At any other club there would be an opportunity to meet them but sadly i feel this will be brushed under the carpet until the next round of changes.

Always worth a 'Google' search for a more uncommon name. Try it and see what you come up with!

The other is unlikely to be John 'Jock' Brown though he is a Hamilton born lad.

What do they bring to the table????? Cash??

Another new director in the next few days to be announced.

John Brown is the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Lanarkshire - well networked and influential. Seen on the pitch today at half time. He also runs the Lifeskills business based in the stadium.
