3 relegation rivals up next, Ross county, Thistle & Dundee. How many more L's must canning add to his 25% record b4 the board sack this kid on manager? Nice guy he is but watched the motherwell highlights about 4 times now and we have no shape, no moral and no fckn hope In staying up. What the hell is our formation? Tomas 6"7 defender can't win a ball in the air, Fulton couldn't catch the cold, Skondras has personal problem and will be gone in January( true story ) our pitch is injuring our players and We've been bumped for near a million quid. Long story short we loose next 3 games we go down and Canning keeps his job.

Summed it up pretty well but I get the feeling by now the only way Calamity Canning gets the sack if it's him who nicked the "£1m".
Job safe then.
Incidentally, think C.C will have a vast collection of L' s this season.

Under normal circumstances when we lose the next 3 games and then the following 3 against Rangers Aberdeen and Hibs there may have been a slight possibility of him being punted. Very slight

However now that we are missing a few quid, the board will not want to cause any more uncertainty and he will be there to see us into the Championship

And if we win those three games then what? He's kept us in the premier for 3 years yet there's a section of fans who want him sacked no matter what he does. You lot dont realise these are the glory years of supporting Accies. Most of you must be too young to remember the 70s,80s or 90s. I suppose you cant be blamed for that but get a sense of perspective; We are never going to be able to attract or afford a Stevie Clark. There's a lot worse out there.

I never wanted the guy appointed in the first place.
So nothing has really changed in that respect.

Aye he's kept us up and last season by the skin of our teeth. The product just now is absoluty honkin, the worst under him. We can't defend, 6'7 centre half can't header a ball, strikers can't score and the team has no shape what so ever. I'm at the stage now where I can't be arsed going to games even with my season book as the product is utter dross. We will never be able to attract a Stevie Clark type because? Does it need to be a Stevie Clark type? Any real manager would do.

[quote="Bomber Harris"]We are never going to be able to attract or afford a Stevie Clark because?].

Because?? We just lost up to a million quid according to most reports. Even if we had the remotest chance of any bigger guns coming to us for a premiership manager's salary, (should Accies decide to pay it), any cash to splash on a 'better' manager has now evaporated like water poured into sand.

We appear to have publicly demonstrated that we can't keep our own cash tightly locked up. How could any future manager now believe that they would have funds to spend on players they needed for their team?

What was the excuse prior to that? Who mentioned managers on premiership wages? What's wrong with Stevie Aitken? Young up and coming manager doing well with a part time club and a former player would be a better option than the non motivational management team that's in place just now but true what your saying now. We're are f**ked now with the money problem and stick with a plank of wood in the dugout.

Former player was his younger brother, Chris Aitken.

Judging by the way we are playing we could go to Christmas ( insert year as appropriate) without winning a game. Canning has a win percentage of around 22/23% so why would we start winning games now. We have poor keepers now that Woods is out, a defence that cannot defend, we have forwards who cannot score, a manager who is way out of his depth, does not bode well

I used to go and see Accies regularly in 1970/1980's and mostly enjoyed the style of football we played. Under Canning, absolute crap

Shame that Stevie Aitken isn't a former player as it would have clearly bought him a bit more time and patience from our support. Aside from that a really good suggestion.

A manager who has kept his team up for 2 seasons despite having a vastly inferior budget to the other teams in the division and continues to defy the odds this season by having them 2 places above the relegation play off place.

He's doing a great job!

When Gray and MacDonald walk away we really will be f****d.
There is no appetite for a "Save the Accies" campaign.
If people from the town can't be arsed to go to the games they are certainly not going to stand up and be counted now.
Accies have lost loads of support in recent years.
Guys who were regular attenders.
Once they get out of the habit of going to the games it's hard to get them back.
And Canning certainly hasn't helped the situation.

Shades of Dickie Roy.
Hopefully Rojano can hit the ground running in the big team.
We certainly need something to shout about right now.
