You are almost certainly correct, at some point we WILL get relegated because consistently competing in a division where your home support is half that of the next least supported team is hugely difficult. Again you are correct being promoted back again is very difficult as Hibs, St Mirren, Dundee United, Falkirk etc.. have proven (although I remember similar sentiments last time we were relegated under BR).
So there is a possibility that we will slide down the divisions and look back at the last few years and our most sustained period of top division football as halcyon days. When / if that happens you can look back at your role with fondness - moaning complaining and talking down the club at every opportunity.
100% correct.
It's also almost 100% certain that at least one of the clubs who have sacked their manager will finish 11th or 12th. And if we went down that path it could well be us.
In August, we did well: we played 4 league games, won 2, drew 1, lost 1, points = 7
In September, we didn't: we played 4 league games and lost them all, points = 0, but with a much tougher fixture list, playing 3 of the current top 4.
In October, we have a decent chance again: home games v Motherwell & Partick, aways to Dundee & Ross County. Points to be won. Let's see how this month works out.
