Not looking forward to the trip but going to make the effort for this one. While not dramatic there has been an improvement in Ross County under Mcintyre so I expect hard fought game. However the result against Dundee must mean three points is a real possibility. Same team as last week with alex providing that bit of extra experience. Once we reach 40 points, which i think alex has said should see us safe from outright relegation or a play off place, then he can blood a few more young players but until then lets get 10 points on the board.

Hard place to go especially as they are getting desperate and have shown some signs of improvement. Winning against Dundee should improve our confidence. 3 points would be amazing. Good luck Accies

its a game we can win, but our form on the road lately has been dodgy, would be happy enough with a draw. keep AN in the team.

Brophy gets another hat trick for the under 20s today against Hibs. Hope he is on the bench on Saturday.

How many more point until we are safe? It can't be far off being mathematical now with the split.

We are only halfway through the fixture list, H9crx, quite apart from all the games AFTER the 'split'. Last season, I think the sixth team FINISHED with 53, again after the 'split', and I recollect ALEX saying that 40 points was his target. the SEVENTH team had about 39 points at the end of the season. There should be no-way that we are in any sort of danger with 33 points at this stage, and a top six place must be a real incentive to all at the Club.

We have a 25 point difference between us as St Midden after today.

After 17 games last season St Johnstone, who finished sixth, had 22 points. They went on to win eight more games and draw twice before the split. So, going by that, just five more wins and no draws should see us in the top six but let's say four wins and a couple of draws. No reason why we can't win four in a row for the second time this season and look towards a European place in the New Year, though 5th place would still be magic.

Not a great game RC never let us settle and there was little space to play our usual game. So we didn't play well and got 3 points in Dingwall and we will all be very happy with that.

Sometimes you have to grind out a result and we did that yesterday. The way we started I thought we were going to score bucket loads but second half Ross County came back into it and while they threatened i never felt we would concede. The Canning goal comes straight out of the training ground and he has done it before so you would think the opposition would have him marked. Thought Dougie was off the pace yesterday and Andreu despite some very clever stuff didn’t impact. Overall though a good team performance marshalled by Alex in midfield again. Well done the 70 odd accies fans who made the long haul.

Got to give our defence a bit of praise first for canzo's goal and for a superb display from Mikey Devlin who won every ball in the air and didn't put a foot wrong

Interesting tweet from SPLstats Dundee Utd & Aberdeen will be 4 points off the top at Xmas - the closest a non-Glasgow club has been since Hearts in 05/06 (also 4).

And Accies only 5 behind. Incredible.

Good result today although never that nice to see one of our European slot rivals win.
