Same squad as before minus Mikey and with Greg replacing Daz, with a deeper centre line please, as Donati isn't exactly the fastest at turning and running.
Bingham has to keep D'Acol out with that goal ratio. I think they will try and man mark Crawford, which should leave a lot down to Imrie/Templeton on the wings to get our deliveries in.

INTAE THEM.

No surprise to see the Sportscene pundits tipping against us.

3-0 United. I wish I could be more positive, but I have a feeling they're going to blow us away and leave us too much to do in the second leg.

Our defence won't cope. Donati and Gogic at centre back? And they'll punish our slack passing. If we play as we did yesterday, we have every chance, but how likely is that? Especially considering Dundee were past caring - but United will be well up for it. If we revert to our form of the previous four games, we have no chance.

This tie is all about staying in contention after the first leg, and I fear we won't. MacKinnon could be key, and if he is at his best, and we show the same commitment as yesterday, then maybe we will. And I fancy us to win at NDP, even missing MacKinnon. But Thursday is a big problem: if Canning has a masterplan to keep it tight, and can realise that plan, I take my hat off to him - as I hope all his critics will. At the moment, I feel we have one foot in the Championship.

Come on Accies - prove me wrong.

Correct me if I'm wrong but are you shitting your pants at our prospects of getting past a team that struggled to beat Dumbarton over 4 games this season?

Our record against Championship opponents this season is not good.

Lost to Ayr United.
Beat St Mirren.
Lost at home to Morton.
Drew twice with Dunfermline and only progressed on penalties.

Dundee United at Tannadice is a severe test. I'd settle for any scoreline that keeps the tie alive going into Sunday.

For once, I'm in agreement with outahere, we have plenty of players that can worry them too. If Crawford, Imrie, Mackinnon, Redmond, Templeton and Bingham play at their best, and I'm sure they'll all be right up for it, we should get a decent first leg result. Gogic looks fine, Donati is a worry but he has experience. Hopefully we won't see too many one on ones with him and Murray!

I'm going for a 2-1 first leg win.

I think it's a 50 50 balance between the teams with our injury and suspensions maybe tipping slight towards United, although I am not sure if they have any issues.

It's not long since a few were saying we would have no chance in a play off so a bit of positivity is great.

It's hard to say what kind of form both teams will actually produce on the days, but both teams have a better record at home.

United finished 3rd in the Championship and got pounded by falkirk who got sloppy with 20 minutes to go.

United won 15 games out of 36 in that league.

We 'should' have too much for them but we're Accies, we don't do simplicity

Hope to see a decent crowd up to cheer the team on . The whole of Scottish football is against us.

We are good enough to beat them on our day, we can't set up to try and draw we need to treat this like we did on Saturday . I'd go for same team other than donati in for devlin . Keep gils fresh to replace daz on Sunday .

Been reading we are giving them The Gazebo. Not a great idea to have the crowd near enough 50/50.

Reminds me of the debacle over 'Airdrieonions'.

Not being over-confident but we can beat Dundee Untied over 2 legs - they're better than they were last season but they're not the DUFC of old. Plus, they're on the verge of administration, so the pressure on them is huge. Personally, I can live with Championship football and so can Accie's finances, so it's not quite such a big deal for us. The players will be totally up for it and the press will be bumming Untied up all the way, so let's go out there and stuff them.

If we stay in the Premiership after all this can we just use some of the money to hire a competent office/PR manager? One who can proof read and hide e-mail addresses maybe?

Would anyone help me out and get me a ticket and meet me at tannadice on Thursday? I'm working away all week and can only get there on time if I go straight to the ground, cash only means I can't buy over phone and get it posted. If anyone can help me out PM me and I can transfer cash to you and meet you on Thursday , cheers !

Phone the Club and ask to speak to Shaun Fagan - that's what I was told to do - hopefully someone can sell us tickets before the game.

Got my away and home tickets today. from the pile of tickets at the counter, we have thousands of home tickets still laying there. I'll presume people are awaiting the away leg result before deciding

More like they've only been on sale for a day and people haven't had a chance to buy them. It'll be tomorrow or Thursday before I can get mine.
