Chance to get Daz back and some more game time for this event coming back from injury. Hope we don't lose any ground to our rivals and then it's 2 weeks until 3 huge games in a week.

New Rangers manager, full house Accies lacking confidence, Accies cant score or defend, so its not looking good

Canning will park the bus and hope to get out with 2-0, 3-0 to Rangers. We will have no shots on target

And, in all probability, a much smaller Accies travelling support, after the last couple of games' team selections and performance, not including the hassle to get there and back without issues.

Canning was on Clyde 1 tonight, talking about the game.
Said the atmosphere will be similar to the opening game of the season with Rangers expectations high and an enthusiastic home crowd. We need to frustrate them and hope to hit on the break to turn the crowd. Said we played well that first game and first half recently, so we'll need a similar performance and hope for better referee decisions and luck. With Daz bringing some bite into the midfield we should up our game. Wouldn't surprise me if we got a point.

532 surely established as no way to keep a good team at bay without major portions of luck. Hopefully more players available after injury and certainly no more injuries as the games in in 2 to 3 weeks are huge.

RC playing ICT is also a huge game from our perspective, a draw there is probably best for us ? A St J win will suit us fine as well.

You cannot blame the strikers for lack of shots on target. It's the absolute lack of quality passing and chance creation from everyone behind the strikers that is letting us down. D'Acol can hold the ball up well and challenge in the air, Bingham is good when showing his pace, Brophy is often found on his arse or lacking in pace. Our wide players are perhaps the worst we've had in a long time, Dougie is absolutely done, scared to do the business, Gramoz wants to run with his back to goal too.

I am more concerned if its 5 at the back than Dougie up front. Dougie will hold the ball up and win fouls and hence keep possession better than Bingham and Brophy. Good to see D'Acol starting to get close, Devlin missing is again a big miss.

65 accies fans there today . The board need to smell the coffee the club isn't going to stay in the league without fans backing and I'd say 90% of them don't back canning .

Watching this shambolic set up on ye olde t'internet;Dougie waving his hands in exasperation at no support and despite a defensive formation,Tavierner being made to look like Carlos Alberto/Cafu rampaging up the line unopposed.

What a miserable 90 minutes. At least that's the last time we'll be going to either of the two Glasgow scumbags any time soon.

Wrong set up at the back - the choice up front lets people vent their spleen and that's fair enough.

Not many high points; Imrie did more than Brophy or Binham have done recently - however that is faint praise indeed.

Redmond again is just not up to the physical part of the game on many levels, Donati is not a defender and was poor again, and Gogic's poor header led to the penalty.

More game time for the average Docherty and Crawford, D'Acol has got 2 weeks to get fitter and Daz back doing what he does. So some positives alongside other results goin our way, eventually.
