Tough away game at the best of times and I fear the worst, a heavy defeat.

3-0 ICT. Canning to claim we had a good week in training, were punching above our weight, that's football for you and I don't understand why we can't win

Mr Annan was playing manager again on Sunday attending the Caley game which will mean another week of the players being told how good and dangerous the opposition are and how we will have to defend for our lives to get something , another week of the players being drained of any talent they have , would just like to hear him being positive and talk about how we can hurt Caley but that will not happen under him now that he has set his stall out to be as negative as he can be in games .

Asked if he takes any notice of the critics in the stands, he said: “No, you don’t. I’ve had it throughout my career as a player and obviously as a manager you will get it as well. But I think when you take a reality check you will realise who you are supporting and where we’re at.

“We’re a small club punching above our weight but everyone here is fighting as hard as we can to keep ourselves in the league. You can understand, as a passionate fan of any football club, you want your team to win, that goes without saying. But we are the smallest club in the league by some distance and we are trying to over-achieve.

“If the fans were being short-changed and we were getting battered from pillar to post, then you could understand it. But the boys are out there giving their all, and on another day we would have won the game with the chances we created.”

Canning hiding behind "we are a small club" instead of being positive about trying to be the best we can be , his job was untenable after the Annan game but i guess he knows now results do not matter and he can sweep every bad result under the carpet knowing he will not be sacked .

If inverness find a way through our back line it will be another comfortable defeat , can only hope we defend for our lives and win a set-piece to get something as we will not go in to a game to give as good as we get now .

C'mon everyone, we had a good week in training that's all that matters.

I can't see us scoring at all. Inverness will be on a high with their result against Hibs in the cup and they have in the form of John Hughes a manager who instills confidence in his players.

Lets hope they are a bit heavy legged and down after ploughing Farmer McDiarmid's field on Wednesday night.

The team closest to us in the league (looking up) so with our record against bottom 6 teams as poor as it is and time running out, it would be handy to show prospect of being competitive against our peers and not just have repetitive and boring sob stories from MC.

However, with the park the bus ethos seemingly ingrained it would appear all we can expect is to try and get a draw or to fluke a goal from a set piece.

Despite our horrendous form, a win here would put us level with ICT (albeit they have a game in hand) but a loss would probably see another team we won't catch be confirmed.

Great result today. Is it too early to play the theme music from 'the Great Escape'?.

Scrappy game but a huge win. Killie losing was fantastic too.

A great day. I'd say 11-12 points needed to ensure safety. Can we get the home wins? Eleven without a win, wonder what the club record is?

It's quite clear that there's a load of unhappy folk after this win. The sack canning bandwagon has come off the rails a wee bit so there'll be a few unhappy bunnies about haha

5 points clear of killie, I'm delighted for Canzo and Carlton Morris and hope we can build on this against the jags next week.

Good result today against ICT.....however , one result doesn't make up for the shit we have had to watch recently ....but , very happy with three points today......3 points against thistle , coupled with a Killie defeat would go a long way to keeping us in the top league next season .....
