That said, they had a great chance early on, hit the bar, had a free header and perhaps could have had a penalty. We also had a one on one sitter in the first half missed by Ali and 2 or 3 great breaks in the second that we should have done better with.

I think Martin was too defensive and yes it 'worked' in that we got the 3 points but Killie were really poor and we could have dominated the midfield even more with a more conventional 541. Add in that Lyon is neither one thing or another (RB or RW) and gets caught in between, looking unsure, slow to react and less than robust in his battles with his 'man'. Killie had 1 up and it was the atrocious Boyd - but Martin gets away with it and takes the plaudits.

Despite what folk said we were fighting relegation before the game and we are still fighting after it. :D

Stop being so miserable ;)

Ok :D Kurakins had a decent game, Daz did really well (apart from a daft free kick he needlessly gave away at the edge of the box) and Morris was more effective and stuck to his task far more than usual.

The killie pies and Accies Empires were also magic :D

Poor game, short of quality but a vital 3 points.

Not surprisingly the best performances all came from defensively minded players with Devlin, Gordon both excellent and Lucas, Kurakins and MacKinnon not far behind.

Another assist from Crawford but another off day and like others I don't think Lyon offers enough going forward to play the role he was asked to today. I thought we probably merited the 3 points but it could of been far more comfortable if it wasn't for constant poor decision making going forward.

1 league defeat from a really tough January schedule with 4 out of 5 games away from home - Martin Canning January manager of the month anyone?

Pre match starts well, I got a complementary ticket. Thank you whoever you were. Then I got an empire biscuit. Pure magic. Then I had to sit through the first half. Kilmarnock 0 Accies 0 football 0. Then the second half. We wanted it more so well done us but don’t anyone think we don’t need strengthening although it does not look likely. Next up Dundee United. Going to miss this one so hopefully I’ll miss a 4 - 0 for us.

I've already said this on P & B but I genuinely feel a lot more comfortable about surviving this season. Not because of our performance but due to how awful Killie were. I know they can occasionally pull something out the bag but they're definitely worse than us, can't defend and don't look like scoring. We'll wait and see if United can do something incredible.

Such a great day spoilt..................Locke has quit Killie.

However - on the good side they have appointed McCulloch as interim :D (who is another guy on cash we couldn't look at)

If it weren't for Annan I wouldn't have a problem with that, a shocking December.

Terrible game, yes we won but Kilmarnock are no better than Larkhall Thistle at the minute.
Negative stuff from Canning as per and it's starting to resemble the latter days of watching Billy Reid's accies watching the team just now.
No wonder a lot of fans have decided enough is enough.

Sadly that is the reality of the Premier, grinding out results. Surely 3 clean sheets out of 4 is worthy of praise? I wanted Canning out after Annan but I'd love him to outlast some more managers!

Killie holding talks with Billy Davies according to the BBC. If they do appoint him it will be interesting to see what his experience brings to Killie’s performance. Hopefully nil because the last thing we need is a resurgent Killie.

To be fair, he has a point. There was nothing wrong with his post, so why are you attacking him for it? If you have a problem with someone, please take it to PM.
