After 1 point in the last 5 games this is a banana skin where our opponents will sense a chance to get us when we are vulnerable. I thought MC was a bit desperate in changing a lot of the team and I don't think a last min penalty necessarily makes it a success.
Gills is not a RB and Ziggy isn't a CB and we will miss Imrie.

Hopefully the last minute pen will give us a lift going into this, on paper we should win easily but its Accies and our cup record is poor, if the unthinkable were to happen i can see folk losing the plot with Canning, here is a tip for MC, take yer hands out yer pockets and encourage yer team.

Doherty and Brophy to keep their place

Changes we should make

Under 20's left back

Jesus back in with Sandels white

The Germa in for Dougie

Dalco in for Moris

D'Acol and Redmond start in the U20s this afternoon

I don't think we could get away with Danny in a midfield 3

Nothing on the Accies Official Web-site (of course) about admission prices for Cup Tie. Still advertising forthcoming game at Fir Park  !!

Thought I saw a flash from Ladbrokes that said £12 Adults £6 concessions. Anyway any the wiser?

Yep, on our twitter page those are the correct entry prices. The OS is a waste of time. They should just bin it TBH.

I think there is either no, or very limited, covered areas for away fans so worth watching the weather.

I watched highlights of annan’s game against Clyde to get a feel for the ground. It has been a few years ago since Ive been there. if we do bring 500/700 I’m a bit concerned where we are all going to go. The away end is uncovered terracing and only about 3/5 standing tiers if that. There is absolutely nothing down the side of the ground opposite the main stand, perhaps a path but no spectator facilities. The stand holds I think 1000 so i assume we will get a third plus the away end unless they give us covered end? Nothing on their web site yet. Its one of this game that just might catch the imagination and see a bigger turn out than expected. i hope they have thought through the possibilities.

Annan Stand holds 500, not 1000, Alfie O, but they way we are playing can you see any more than 3/400 Accies fans travelling?

I was under the impression there was no segregation at Annan? Last ground like that I was at was Cowdenbeath which ended brilliantly lol. I agree with Alfie that we could take a fairly big crowd down. Many Accies fans I know need it for the full set and it's a new ground for us too. Scottish Cup, winnable tie and a good day out. Most folk should be there. I can see a lot more older fans coming for this one as opposed to youngsters due to the aforementioned full set.

Oops re the stand figure but that makes it even tighter. No way of knowing but the club seems to have suggested to Annan that potentially we could take the same as the Well game ie circa 700.

I've just been checking weather reports. No snow, some rain, temperatures between 2 and 5 degrees. Looks fine. Any suggestions the game may not go ahead?

And how's the M74? Any flooding, roadworks or other anticipated delays? I'm not seeing any.

Annans ground holds 2,500 in total I believe. The main stand holds 500.

That means the remaining 2,000 is split between the home and away ends behind each goal (which seems a lot to be honest) since there is just a fence on the side opposite the main stand. From pictures I have seen the main stand doesn't run the full length of the pitch so there is probably some standing areas on either side of it which makes it up to 1,000 each end.

Accies have just posted that we are getting 200 seats in main stand plus the away end - that gives us 1,200 in total which will be far more than we will need I think.

Just looked at the M74 motorway camera at Beattock and it appears to show snow on the central reservations and sides of the motorways. the lane are clear so might need to keep an eye on things.

Re the crowd,1200 for us sounds fine, if we take half of that it will be a pretty good turnout.
