I see next season as being a real struggle for survival

Agreed if we don’t make some sound investment in the squad to support the developing players. Even Les agreed we need a spine of experienced players but no evidence that is going to happen although its early days yet. And for the avoidance of doubt again and again, no one is asking for huge sums to be thrown at the squad or 3 year contracts. But if mcgovern goes and another player where is that money going ? To the Stadium Company for more property development And if there is no Dome where has the money for that gone. Add into that mix an unproven manager who many of us believe hasn’t got it and it will indeed be a real struggle. Come on Les/Ronnie explain in detail what the strategy is. Are we a property development company with a youth development strategy to generate profits for reinvestment in the stadium company or are we a football club with a youth development strategy to reinvest in the team. I might no agree but at least I might understand what is happening

The Celtic win could have been 4-1 if Celtic had taken their chances. What is your point, caller?

Jackie McNamara must be a shitier manager surely, 2 wins since they lost their two most influential players.

Killie lose 7 in a row. That Locke is pish.

There are definitely fans on here who take delight in a defeat and were nowhere to be seen when we won two in a row recently. Expectations have been raised to crazy levels now and these fans will never let up while Hamilton Accies arse about in the bottom six of the Scottish Premiership when our rightful place now in their eyes is pushing for Europe. I see next season as being a real struggle for survival and this forum will be unbearable.

Spot on. Next season it is very important we get behind the team. Next year will be a lot more difficult with hearts and hopefully Hibs coming up, the ultimate goal is survival, with some additions we should be fine. Fans are quick to turn on a manager. Yes it was frustrating not to finish top half or even europe. But whats done is done. Lets get back to supporting the team and secure another year in the top flight.

A couple of decent signings- not mediocre journeymen- and at the very least we should be able to finish where we are now.

Sign the calibre of players we have done since AN left and we will struggle big time. The ball is in the board's court.Failure to make any decent signings after the way they have acted since Sir Alex left will lead to a real struggle.

Then again the fans considerations don't seem to matter. No sign of that Q+A either, but quick enough to contact the media when the pitch is criticised.

This season is not yet finished and there is still a bit of time; yes Dundee are off and running in terms of signings but no one else is so lets not panic.

Whiskeytown calls it right. January is not the best time to sign players and I would say we have decent record of late in choosing who to sign - even in January Sumsky and Nigel were poor but Lucas looks decent. Before that McGovern, Imrie, MacDonald and Redmond were brought in last year. Before that we have guys like Scotland, Jesus and Tony being brought in so this picture of the board not being interested in success on the pitch has absolutely no basis.

The property development comment is an absolute joke. We are a football club with its best finish in 80 years, a flourishing youth set up, financial stability and the stadium being invested in.

Not a joke at all. A quite serious observation. Is it necessary for the football clubs success to spend a reputed 1.5 million on a dome when there is a perfectly good one at the palace grounds or ravenscraig the rental costs of which would not be prohibitive. A dome for which there is no planning application or permission and the future of which seems vague given more recent developments. Where is the money going/gone not an unreasonable question either. Pay ur money and shut up seems to be the boards attitude it's our club not yours.

Calibre of players since Neil left? If i'm correct we've signed 3. Lucas, Sumsky and Nigel. One who looks like he could be well worth it, one who hasn't featured and one most agreed was a good signing but has disappointed. Not really a calamitous signing policy is it?
