Dreading this game again, hope I am wrong but I can not see how wee will score or be able to out fight a hungry Well team.
No need for this to be on TV either as it will result in a terrible crowd for a match that could have been a money spinner for us.

Anyway doom & gloom over, C'mon the Accies.

Motherwell fan saying on PnB they only have 40 tickets left. Could be a horrible evening all round. Play like we did against UTD and we have a chance.

The optimist in me says a narrow win for us which ensures we won't be in playoff.

We were very unlucky against Dundee United and should have taken at least a point from that match.

Who wants this more? Every game is a must win for Motherwell if they want to get out of the play off place. But surely the Accies players want a win before the end of the season? Redmond took a knock yesterday in the Under 20’s game so I doubt he will figure otherwise apart from big Lucas this was a genuine under 20 team so everyone else available for Friday. Canning is still out (?) I think so presumably the team that started against United and at least showed some spirit but where will the goals come from is anybody’s guess.

I would start Scotland or Brophy for Hasselbaink from the team that were very unlucky v Dundee Utd.

Otherwise, don't touch it................

I've got a good feeling that Accies will win this 3-2..................

I'm going to be positive, if Dougie scored the vollie in the last game we would have went on for a draw.

A draw makes us safe, the squad was at the stadium of light and got beat 2-1 this week not a win but let's hope it given the team a lift.

Not Cannings first win as we, will not win again this year but I think we will get a 1-1 and be safe.

Redmond injured after not exactly impressing last night, Lucas looked ok but a bit casual at times and Brophy got better as the game went on, hit the post and should have scored another one thro on the keeper. The u20s have another game tomorrow night so it will be interesting who plays in that one

Can't agree with starting with Scotland and I would bring on Brophy before him as well.

One nil Accies would be lovely.

ANY Accies win would be lovely....whether it be a 4-0 pasting or a lucky deflected goal to win 1-0....

C'mon Accies get right in about them from the first whistle to the last...if they want the three points then make them fight for them .....they might "need" them more than us , but that doesn't mean that our players "want" them any less.....

No Greg Docherty for the U20s tonight so quite possibly a starting place for him on Friday. Brophy starts for U20s so best he can hope for is a 10 minute cameo from the bench vs Motherwell. No Lucas so maybe a start although more likely cover from the bench with Ziggy continuing at CB (assuming Jesus is still injured).

In other news Nico Sumsky has been located :o

Sumsky's main contribution earlier was twice getting in Brophy's way when going for high balls pumped forward by the player manager in the under 20 game.

BBC reporting Ziggy has knee problem and maybe a doubt for tonight.

Massive game for both clubs, Accies win or a draw and hopefully we can put the last 4 months behind us and start to look forward to next season in the premier league.

If Motherwell win, I fear the psychologically the lift that will give them means they could easily go on a winning run and leave the spectre of a play off hanging over us.

On a personal note, even things looks as if they are are not going our way, I plead that the support get behind the team.

I sincerely believe that if the players know the fans are behind them it could just make the difference.

How shambolic is our defence? Leaving so much wide open, watching the ball instead of chasing it... We should have lost at least 3 goals that half. We used to calmy play the ball out with slick passing, and now all we can seem to do it punt it up the field. We haven't lost any defenders, so why has this changed?

Happy to be ahead at half time, but we're fortunate to be so.
