Let's hope some of the boys are back.

What's the time-scale on Jesus and Martin?
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

Havent a clue whats wrong with canning. I assume tena was still recovering from the United game. I would love a cup run but the head says league points are more important. Looking forward to this. Hopefully a good 3000+ crowd.

We're pretty strong going forward, but with Canning & Tena potentially out, we are to light at the back.

need to get some back up. Gary Kenneth or Darren O'Dea would do

Very hypothetical but I would take the 3 points rather than go thro in the cup. Or both if possible!

Alex quoted on BBC as:

But the only concern I would have is that I don't want us to take our eye off the ball in terms of the league.

"That is our bread and butter and we want to do really well in that competition. We want to have a good cup run too, but we have a really small squad and it might be difficult to manage the two.

"Would I name a weakened side on Wednesday? Well, my team will be determined by who is fit and who is not. But I would have no problem putting some of the younger boys in on Wednesday.

"But if I had to chose which of the two derbies we could win, I'd take the league game, without question.

"We want to continue our league form. I'm not writing the cup off - not at all - but the league is our priority

I am quietly confident.

I think we'll have Jesus, MAC and Canning back and Motherwell were not great the other night.

0-2

By the way great to have this forum - I'll send a link to everyone I can

Feeling confident going into this one. With Mac and Jesus back I think we'll have enough to keep our great run going. Hope for a big noisy travelling support too.

Our 'luck' must turn at some ------ mustn't it ?

But if JGT comes in and Ziggy goes to RB it will be harsh on Gills who has played well but we need every inch of quality we can and Ziggy can hurt them more up the wing I think.

0-2 at half time... 15 shots on goal, with 5 on target. Motherwell with 0 shots on goal.

Rather pleasing!

I see that 'Well had 53% of the possession... I wonder what they've been doing with the ball?

ETA - oh no, the twitter feed seems to have gone down. Mibbe they don't have powerpoints to re-charge the mobile at Fir Park?

From the BBC website:

'As much as the home side's display was flat and lacking in spirit, Hamilton were fluent, passing the ball with style and grace... There is balance and solidity to their game... Even in time added on, Hamilton remained in command and hungry to score...'

Tell it like it is.

Really didn't see that coming, wow, what a result!!!

And to think, the last couple of nil-nil score lines had me worried that the goals had dried up for us... No chance!
