If that turns out to be true, that might be the final straw, for Canzo.

If we don't win I will not attend another Accies game until the managent team has gone. It would be 1 point from the bottom 3 any other manager would be sacked but not at comunity acccies were we are all pals.

Same keeper and defence as yesterday. Thinks Gills needs to be the holding player, with someone else more forward beside Ali in midfield. Scotland up front from the start would be embarrassing and perhaps another chance for Redmond to do anything beyond the 45 minute mark, but if he fails to deliver anything more than flashes he can sit on the bench.

I would only make small changes against Motherwell.

For consistency sake keep keeper and back 4, as they are but work needs to be done working on cross balls. Remember Motherwell historically play "hoofball", so some game plan needs to be put in place to counter that.

Lyon done ok yesterday, but perhaps because of inexperience, was too eager to smash the ball downpark, mostly not to our players.
I'd replace him with Routledge.
Tell Gillespie to stop breaking ahead of the front men and stick to his position of holding midfielder.

I'd stick with Redmond-Crawford-Imrie as the attacking midfielders but give instructions to break forward at will. That's why we need the holding midfielders to stay disciplined and hold their positions.

Lastly, for god sake, try Brophy on from the start.

If this forum is no longer for fans to express an opinion then I prob should not bother. The BOD are doing a good job at getting in new fans! But a better job at Turning away fans of 30 years.

Likely to be a poor pitch and they will just punt it and be physical. We might need to be the same; so perhaps not a game for Scotland (he won't run onto balls in behind or into channels or challenge in the air), Redmond (not robust or fit enough and cant track back) and Lyon (perhaps not robust enough). Might be a game for McKinnon with a suitable warning to be disciplined and back to his best.

Mackinnon has been rank recently.

I get your point about some steel in the midfield, but he's either not interested or in a rage of late.
Need I remind posters of his performance against St Mirren.

Another point is Accies don't know how to play "hoofball". Play to our strengths, not somebody else's.

Game so far

Ok we are missing someone like #22 or a Roy Loy as the balls that have broke to Grant G and Crowford would have been finished!

Scotland looks as bad as the pitch! Would put EB on and Nigel or Redmond

What a goal DI's vollie would have been!
