Celtic v Accies Sun 5 October

Extremely excited about this game.

Could be season defining or bubble bursting.

Should we go for it as we did at Fir Park or be more cautious to avoid a Dundee Utd type defeat?

Personally I hope we go for it!

A great opportunity to come away with something IMO. Confidence is sky high, team have bonded and are playing well. Would it be selfish or greedy to ask for some points? Same again please Accies :D

I don't think this team knows how to be cautious. It's amazing how confident i feel going into a game away to celtic. I think we go into it like we have every other, play the way that we have, we have nothing to fear.

I don't think it'll be either season defining or bubble bursting tbh. Celtic start the game as huge odds on favourites (2/7) as they have a bigger and better squad than us. We're on the crest of a wave at the moment and Celtic have shown themselves to be pretty fragile this season, but as long as we don't get an absolute doing I won't be too troubled by the result. A point would be very welcome, 3 points would be a dream come true, but we've managed to pick up points against the teams it's important to beat this season and that's the most important thing.
Still getting excited about it though! ;)

Against all the usual Accies-fan caution, I find myself hopeful verging on optimistic. I think we can take something from this game. Have we ever got a result at Parkhead? (At least in the modern era?) I'm not aware of any.

And yet form suggests we should be contenders. Unbeaten away, scoring freely, and with a couple of clean sheets. We should score, at least. The only worry is that Celtic may offer a greater test than our defence has faced so far.

I'd settle for a good performance and any result short of a confidence-sapping humiliation, but I genuinely believe we could achieve so much more...

Like many others, no doubt, I'm feeling incredibly optimistic about this one, though I think a lot will hinge on how their Europa League games goes tonight.
Anyone know the latest injuries-wise for us?:

Not that optimistic, primarily I think right in the centre of midfield we could be just short physically. But nothing to lose.

Fabulous performance. The most surpising thing for me was that I wasn't suprised by the result (if that makes sense)

So proud of them today , what bottle , always tried to get the ball down and play when we could , Celtic at home were always going to create chances but we stood up to them , lots of Celtic fans on way back to car said what "a great wee team" .

Amazing times to be an Accie .

A wee club with a rookie manager and a young team but playing some lovely one-touch fast attacking football and doing it with confidence! Tremendous result today and everyone played their part. Really glad I was there to see it.

Top of the league - deservedly!!!

Does it, can it, will it get any better?

Like a few of the other posters always felt we could get something from this game.
