More of the same please. Keatings for Boyd if available. I wonder if we can accommodate Davis with Oakley from the off? A home win after the draw would be massive. Giruy to Provan!

Will be a tougher game against what has become a real bogey team for us.

A couple of more days on the training pitch for the new manager and the same effort from the players should stand us in good stead.

More confident that I would have been this time last week for sure.

Expectations totally different from the previous Manager in charge.
I expect another inaboutem performance and regardless how the game pans out no Accies fan will argue if we see the team is trying to be positive
FT Provans and Keevins,Gannons and Derek Johnstone's of this World.
btw.

About time we had a result against St J and with the fizzing positivity from Saturday's performance, we should go into this one with a view to securing maximum points.

Miller starting in place of Boyd , Oakley upfront with McMillan replacing him second half , leave Davies in the American Diner .

Is McMillan eligible to play against St Johnstone?

I wouldn't have thought so, but I'm not an expert on loan rules.

I think St Johnstone are a really good side, so a point would be great. However, I am now beginning to get hopeful... I was talking to a fellow Accie earlier and we were talking about the increaing hope around with Brian Rice... I said, "you know, the hope of a candle burning in an arctic snowstorm".

That said, I actually do have some hope.

Do you mean you have some substance from the shop at the Main entrance or thinking renaming NDP the Hope Stadium was not so bad after all

Seriously, I share the cautious optimism here, with others.

That really is the most cautious of optimism Boffin.
I am optimistic that we'll be better to watch, we'll compete well with most teams in the league, St Mirren will finish bottom and that NDP will be a much happier place to be. I'm pessimistic that Dundee have improved significantly and we are in a fight. If these changes hadn't been made however we would have no chance of escaping relegation/ play offs.
Well done Mr Maitland- we have hope back!

To put this into perspective, under the previous Manager ( I use the term Manager lightly) I would have more faith in a chocolate fireguard.

My word Bluesy, it's like you read my mind re Accies at the moment! I think it will be tough to avoid the play-off, but I'm not all that bothered if I have an Accies team to watch who are trying. AND if we do finish 10th, I would say that would be a magnificent achievement by Brian Rice, and not impossible!

Sorry, Davies is a ball winning unit, once our attack all start to become more in sync, he will prove vital IMO. Holding the ball up and releasing the likes of Miller/Andreu. Fairly sure his strength led to the lay off for Daz' goal on sat?

Davies is a cross between Mark Viduka and Nicolas Anelka with a touch of John Hartson thrown in.
Sometimes there is an air of Dado Prso about him also.

With a bit of Grant Holt , Geoff Horsefield and Mickey Quinn thrown on as well.

I only live in hope that, before Valhalla, we beat st Johnstone in the league...
Could it be...could it possibly be the time...

It's in the Doomsday Book that we beat St Johnstone the week before the Wrath of the Seven Dragons descend and the Sun and Moon collide.
And basically we are all toast, but it will be great to finally beat Saints.

Great. But this was all a long time ago.

It would be great if 2 random St Johnstone players started fighting on the pitch and got sent off.
Thus surely gifting us the perfect chance for 3 points.
Nah, you couldn't make that up.
Went too far there.
