Where to start? Livingston were written off by most before a ball was kicked but have proved the doubters wrong. While I think they will stay up I do think they may struggle as the season progresses. Despite losing on Wednesday they are still favourites for Saturday. Can we please stick with the killie back four, give Kelly one of the midfield slots and bench Bingham. I know Woods has come in for criticism but hey look at the defence he has been playing behind so I’m not ready to change keepers yet. Not really hopeful though.

Last Saturday's back 4 (even though Daz and Dougie are out). Delph can't play midfield and is really good at centre back. Give Kelly, L Smith and Miller the opportunity to run at the Livingston defence (if there is a team not to play hoofball at its them).

Think we're all pretty much in agreement on this - GK & back four pick themselves.

The problem is who to play in midfield. Is Kelly really back in contention? Is Taiwo a write-off now? Any sign of Gogic being fit? Is Lewis Smith ready to be thrown in from the start? What are our other options - Sowah/McMann in midfield? Scott Martin can't play midfield on his own.

Maybe we're forced to play an attacking line-up. Maybe that's what we need to do against a stuffy Livi. It would be great to come out of the traps, have a real go at them, and race into a 2 or 3 goal lead before they know what's hit them. Miller must be due another of these games when he can't miss.

Big game. Backs to the wall: are we going to be stuck with St Mirren and Dundee, or can we start to climb away from them? Let's come out fighting and put three points on the board.

Think it's starting to dawn that some/most of the last batch of signings aren't up to the required standard.
Kelly/A Smith (remember him)/Tom Taiwan/ are perhaps only marginally better than Euro Pish standard.
And that's me being kind.

You guys all shouting for him to start realise Sam Kelly has been shown up half a dozen times already as being absolutley terrible?

Can see these players plus a few more getting punted in January.
Aaron Smith was meant to be a rising star and a great talent but has hardly had the time of day , may be he told Martin how it is.

I reckon A Smith, Kelly, Bloomfield and Penny will all be punted in January.

As WW says we might be forced into an attacking line up.

Maybe more. Sowah? Taiwo?

Bloomfield's just on loan, isn't he? But I could see the loan being cut short in January.

Are you buying yourself a chocolate orange or a hoover attachment?

No matter what the circumstances, I can't imagine being anywhere else this afternoon.
Last Saturday was good and perhaps Imrie's suspension may allow a start for Smith.
On the other hand I might have another dark depressing Saturday night.
Still can't contemplate missing it though!

I don't have a great feeling about this.

So that means we're going to win, right?

Well that was unexpected. I think we had 2 real chances on goal and scored with one. Well done Bloomfield . Overall apart from the goal we were poor. Livingston bossed the game and must be wondering how they didn’t win. The referee was dire. A good weekend given Dundee/ midden lost but anyone who tries to say we have turned a corner and Canning deserves credit for that performance can away boil their heid.

So we won ugly. Big deal. We won. That’s what matters. The record shows we got three points.

I agree that Livi bossed the game. They pressed the man on the ball, they looked more committed to chasing things, they fought harder than we did. When we got the chance we played the neater football, but that would have counted for nothing if we hadn’t got the goal.

But we did. We’ve played better and taken less, so I’m happy with that. And results elsewhere went for us: St Mirren and Dundee both lost again, and we’re pulling away from them.

A few good individual performances to praise: I thought Martin was immense, Ziggy a good shout for MOTM, and more than happy with Woods and the back four.

Too many daft challenges, notably tackles from behind, cost us cards, and now we miss Miller next week. I thought Livi were by far the dirtier team, but were savvy enough not to get so many cards. At least now Dazza and Dougie will be back.

Onwards and upwards. 8-)
