I think it works well for us that they won today. It'll have taken a lot out of them, and they've got less recovery time. Their ex-Accies contributed big performances - will they have much left for the game against us?

A trip to Pittodrie is always tough, but we've had a few results there over the years, and if we play as we've recently shown we are capable, we may just take something - maybe even win. I certainly don't expect a doing, I think we'll compete and give a good account of ourselves. I'm taking as read that we'll start the same XI who started at Kilmarnock, and at least 9 or 10 of them will play to their full potential. Because that's what it'll take.

Agreed about today being the best result for us.
They’ve had a good result and will have rightly celebrated.
The pressure is off and they have the fans goodwill back after a poor start in the league and hopefully will switch off going into this game.
Hopefully they’ll also be tired and looking toward the final, rather than up for playing the Accies.
If they’d lost, they’d have been desperate to make amends and been really up for the game.
It doesn’t mean that we’ll get a result but if they’d lost today I’d have expected a defeat on Wednesday...#Halloween horror night
I now expect a tough game, but maybe a 0-0 or 1-1 draw.

Just like to add “Congratulations and well played” to Devlin and Ferguson on the man of the match and winning goal respectively.
Always liked Devlin and although Ferguson stitched us up in leaving, he did make a big contribution to us staying up.
Hope they both have stinkers on Wednesday but wish them well for the final.

Not convinced that Aberdeen will be vulnerable after their cup performance. Consadine will presumably be out (glad to hear not as serious as first thought) and there may be other injuries we are not aware of but I think they will be on a high. Anyway my focus is Accies. Same starting 11 please and performance as the last 2 games. I wasn't optimistic ahead of the Killie game but expectations overturned so fingers crossed we get something. Given the Midden are playing the Smell something’s got to give there so we may be dropping down a place. Fair do to anyone who is making the journey. The club should ensure they get comps.

just no way I can make it tomorrow which is very disappointing because I think we have a chance.

Anyone know if you can get the game on red tv (kid on you're abroad)?

Has to be a 4 5 1
Play a stuffy game and frustrate them.
Would be great to get the first goal and give us something to hang on to.
Although we all know that's something we're not particularly good at,Pittodrie would be a great place to start.

So how about:

Woods
McGowan Tshiembe Kilgallon Gordon
Taiwo Martin Imrie
Keatings Miller
Brustad

Too attack-minded? That would be my concern, but I wouldn't want to tinker with a solid back four, and who else have we got to shore up the midfield?

Two wrong. No Taiwo (not even on the bench?) Keatings only a sub. McMann and Bingham play instead.

Five at the back? Or Delph moved into midfield to replace Daz?

A tinker too much for me one out one in would be fine , somebody as a straight replacement for Daz the other 10 as per Saturday , please keep a back 4.

Yeah, just when we looked to have a steady, solid set-up. One key player missing, and we need a major reshuffle?

Unless Delph or Ziggy is going into midfield and it's still a back four?

Now apprehensive before a ball is kicked.

Apprehension looks to be justified Willie 1- 0 down already to a Shinnie 8 minute goal.

Selection Bingo at it's finest.
Clueless management at the norm.

Once again, code for "I don't agree with the selection". One forced change plus one other.

Now 3-0, as Devlin gets on the scoresheet. We'll drop a league place tonight, as was widely predicted, with Motherwell winning at St Mirren.

Some consolation that Dundee are getting gubbed again - currently 5-0 down at home. That's 3 games plaged and 3 defeats since they sacked McCann, no goals scored and 12 conceded.

It would have to be Devlin wouldn’t it? And the tv stream appears to show Brustad furious with Canning for the substitution so not an injury?

If Brustad has any sense he'll get on the first Fred Olsen back to Norway.
