Rangers Home - 21/10

Postby AcciesFCSLO » Thu Sep 20, 2018 5:39 pm

Fans wishing to purchase tickets to the Rangers game will need to make sure to keep ticket stubs from the next two games. This is to ensure Hamilton fans get allocation.

Season ticket holders are eligible to purchase additional tickets by showing season book at ticket office.

Reminder the game is on a Sunday and is a 13:30 kick off.

What a joke.
It's our "home" game so we can "ensure" our allocation without all this ticket stub pish.

This was done after previous complaints from Accies fans and most welcome it.

Seems some will slag the club for anything.

The fans raised their concerns at the last forum re arrangements for old firm games. I’m not going to fault the club for responding to those concerns. For those without season tickets a bit of pain but on the other hand if regular attenders its no bother to keep a stub. As long as its well advertised beforehand and on the day the turnstile operators remind fans of this arrangement. Given so many have said they have stopped attending anyway for those without season tickets it wont matter a jot ;)

[quote="TerracingTomas"] keep a stub.

Suppose it's easier for Accies fans to keep a Stub than the St Midden board of Directors.

For the last three weeks, no posts from anyone on this weeks game.

Looks like we are all keeping our heads below the parapet with the possibility of another going-over, this time from the resurgent Sevco.

Oh, wait a minute? Did they not loose to Livvy, last month??

We can but dream....................

Aye but Livingston are everything we are not .
Functional.
Organized.
Play to a system where every player knows what their role is.
A coach who has a Clue.
Another depressing Drubbing awaits for the Unaccountable, untouchable Clown.

Might as well start the ball rolling on this one. Cant think of any reason for this to be anything other than a drubbing. Rangers this season have been playing pretty well, they have not had a european midweek game and most of their players will be fresh.

Cant see anything less than a 0-3, and thats if we are lucky.

Any advance on 3

Plenty more than 3.
I'd say double that and another 1 for good measure.

Rangers have yet to record an away league win this season. In fact, I don't think they've won away in the league since something like February.

Accies to win 2-1. ;)

Just what exactly have you been smoking?
There's a better chance of Madeleine McCann doing the halftime draw with Lord Lucan on a Unicorn than the Clowns XI getting anything other than a good humping here.

Hadn't Dundee failed to win in the league at all until they played us, Happy Clapper. 1-3 to the ****.

A statistic that guarantees them a win like every other team on a bad run that turns up at NDP.

I’m usually fairly positive but realistic with regard to Accies but can’t see anything other than a heavy defeat, unless I miss the game (in which case we’ll win).

Never a better time for a team to be playing Rangers on home ground given their poor away record but as others have pointed out this is Accies and having surrendered to Dundee I cannot but see this as being anything other than 3 points for the away team. The question is how many can we avoid losing. Perhaps we should try Kilgallon up front, Ziggy in the middle and Mcgowan standing on his head for 90 minute. Never mind I console myself by looking forward to the Uefa Cup tie if they ever get round to telling us what the admision policy is going to be.

PS This being Accies a draw is always a possibility :)

Sense of humour bypass, anyone?

Obviously we all expect to lose this one. But there's always another way of looking at things, and you just never know with Accies.

Sadly, I've long ago learned that there's a streak of masochism among some of our fans, who wallow in complaining about how bad we are. And enjoy getting themselves all worked up about it. Now we've got fans predicting we'll get gubbed, even hoping it happens, and stoking their anger in advance. And if you don't join in the rage-fest, you're a "happy clapper".

I'll be there to enjoy the game. I'm looking forward to seeing the calibre of the opposition, and how we stand up to them. I want a performance, at the very least a reaction after the Hibs debacle; I'd like us to keep a clean sheet and to score. I won't be happy to lose, if that's how it turns out, but I accept sometimes it's a bit too one-sided.

Yeah at least the young team will have a coach with half a clue what he's doing at the helm.
