Does it not just mean that there are no cash gates and you have to buy a ticket from Livi when you get there ?

You CANNOT buy a ticket at Livingston on the day (god only knows why)
You CAN buy a ticket at Accies on Saturday but only up until 11:30. So 11:30 am is the last chance to buy a ticket for this game but you need to get to Accies ticket office.
Accies appear to be taking payments now by paypal and will send tickets out which seems to be a big step forward.

£24 for Livvy v Accies and the resulting hullabaloo over Tickets/no PTG and it will be a "no thanks" from many who were planning going.

Stevie Clarke sums it up in a nutshell.

As Gav has pointed out Saturdays match is all ticket this is at the request of Livingston themselves.

We did request the match be PATG but this has been turned down and we are told no tickets will be available on the day for this match at Livingston.

More info is found here: https://www.hamiltonacciesfc.co.uk/tick ... 5-09-2018/

Price:

Adults £24
Concession £16
Juniors £10

Is concession student & OAP? I know we don’t operate student gate so I’m a bit unsure and Livi’s website doesn’t say either.

Does the £24 include a finger buffet, fern cake, complimentary drink and match programme?
If so that's great value for money!

I'd be interested to see what sort of justification Livi offer for this. Utterly bonkers. Will just cost them money from fans who won't go because they've forgotten the first rule of selling anything - make it easy for the customer to buy.

From the email I received from my counterpart

(Concessions) Full time students on production of a current matriculation card, U18s, registered disabled (if with a carer and under 65 full price paid but carer admitted free)

Sean, was there any explanation from Livi as to their thinking for this rather bizarre all-ticket decision? I'm struggling to think what it may be, but it would be interesting to know.

Maybe it's so they know how much smoked salmon and caviar they'll have to source for the finger buffet?

They put out a tweet on their official twitter account yesterday stating it was to avoid “congestion” not entirely sure where that would be happening.

I'm sure Hearts have done this a few times and then changed their stance at the end of the week so that you could buy a ticket on the day. It could simply be that they are trying to create a false demand to get more people in (it's going to have the opposite effect though).
