We rode our luck and the fact that Dundee are not that good to lead at half time. If Templeton had scored from the free kick we’d have been home and dry. He was unlucky for the ball to hit the inside of the post and stay out, although if I’d been manager he’d have been subbed by then for an otherwise ineffective performance. Had he not been sent off for two clumsy challenges we’d probably have held on, but the main mistake was subbing Rojano for Obpoke? not Temps.
We struggled to find/know our shape yesterday and with Aberdeen and Rangers up next it’s not looking good. We’ll be worse off if MacKinnon is badly injured, maybe time to get Gills back.
Bright spot was Lewis Ferguson who looks a very good prospect. He looks ready and as WW implied it may be why Docherty was allowed to leave midseason, to allow Lewis to step up.
