Huge naivety by Templeton to get sent off (for the first time in his career) and by our big new Greek striker to foul the Dundee player for the winner while on the sideline with his back to goal and then turning his back to plead with the referee letting Dundee take a quick free kick, taking 2 Accies player out and leave only 6 outfield players defending.
There was some positives, Tomas continues to play very well and remains without fault despite recent defensive howlers, Want got better as the game went on, Rojano's workrate and despite the mistakes that lead to the winner the big new striker looks promising - strong and surprisingly quick. Negatives is that we can't afford Templeton to be so poor when so reliant on his creativity when missing crawford and Docherty. Dougie also remains a massive problem, constantly out of position in defence and woefully ineffective in attack. If we are to continue to play that formation then that position is crying out for McMann to play it.
Big few days ahead with 2 U20s matches to give Kozo and Miller run outs, get Crawford fit again (and resist any moves for him) and bring in at least one additional defender and one additional midfielder. We've been competitive all season particularly so when we've had a full squad to pick from but there is no doubt that there is huge challenges ahead - if Canning can keep us up this year then it will be an astounding achievement.
