Correct, of course. Thanks SC.

We should approach the Cup Tie without fear, (and without any new signings  where we have no money after the scam :? ) 'Well might get someone in from their £500K windfall from the Moult Sale, but hopefully we will continue as a team who know each others strengths.

Credit to MC who might finally have turned the corner in his tactical decisions? Hopefully 2018 will be a MUCH better, & more consistent year, of positive results for us.

That Page 9 on that Steelmen Online page is a right laugh...not;basically saying that the actions of the Accies players was worse than Hartley after pushing Imrie.

They really need to take off their claret and amber specs as their hatred of Imrie on that and Facebook is clouding their judgement.

If you think that's bad you should have heard the mfc online radio commentary on the game.
What a pair of biased twats covering the game.
Also made a cheeky comment on the 551 Accies fans "being around 30% of their total support" much to their own amusement. Fuds.
And they wonder why we hate them. Ftw
Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports that Accies are co-operating with Mothersmell to have Hartleys red card rescinded so he can play in the Cup tie.
On the grounds that he's pish and it'll enhance our chances of progress if he plays. Ftw.

Accies twitter said 577 fans but I think they always enhance it a bit by adding directors and staff!

I noticed that too.
Would be great if one time we could fill out at least the lower tier at their dump like they tramps do anytime they cross over into the nice part of Lanarkshire.

Our record in these New Year derbies is pretty good since we came back up - 5-0, 3-3, 1-1 & 3-1.

Quite trivial but also remember back in the day there was a monthly magazine called SCOTTISH FOOTBALL TODAY. One of their columnists, recently departed John Swinburn MP,(an mfc director and ardent fan) was doing an article on players who have scored 4 or more goals in top flight Scottish football.
Very conveniently forgetting Albert Craig's 4 against his mob.
Bit fishy that

Delayed review but I have been enjoying the holiday period!

The first ten minutes was gruesome to watch. The wet only helped Motherwell as our players seemingly hadn't warmed up yet. The goal was VERY sloppy, McMann really should do better.
Gary Woods again with some GREAT shot stopping and important punching at crosses.
Dougie Imrie *Remember that guy? The one people were posting about how shit he was? * again showed his experience and finished the penalty brilliantly.
I thought Donati's inclusion was great, as well as some important interceptions, the defenders look visibly calmer as they can see Donati eager to pick up a ball with a short pass. Docherty worked his socks off, playing wider might be an option as he does have some pace to burn when dribbling at defenders.
The abuse Bingham gets, truly baffling. He was being man marked by someone who could be a rugby player given different boots, the people near me screaming at him for every sloppy pass he receives or impossible to retrieve ball. That goal is very important to him, it also makes him our joint league scorer :D brilliant finish and composure.
Templeton - I dunno what has happened here, the past few games he seems to have his usual spells of magic but is losing the ball in possession A LOT and then not tracking it back.
The opening 10 minutes and a 20 minute period in the second half aside, we played very well at times. If Motherwell had Moult, we could've had a pounding with the chances they had. Our Wingback formation really doesn't work IMO. With the current crop of players we have, we could dominate midfield play more if we just switch to the bloody standard back 4.

Anyways, that was the best result we could have hoped for. Now let's hope we don't lose anymore talent in January!

Stevie Hammell has today announced his retirement. One beating too many from the Accies no doubt.

Had his arse run ragged by the likes of Docherty probably made him realise its a young mans game.
