Looking forward to this game.
They’re my favourite team to beat and if we go out with our recent mentality we should, given their defensive frailties.
Win and we go 9 points clear with a far superior goal difference, which at this stage of the season would be a comfortable gap. That’s what we need to think pre game and get out and do it.
Hopefully Celtic soften them up with a backlash hammering tonight to further dent their confidence and goal difference.

What counts as a concession?

Any thoughts on who will replace Skondoras?

I think the options are Lyon, Gillespie and Imrie.

Whoever it is, it's much more likely we'll play with three centre-backs and two wing-backs. I wouldn't fancy any of those options as right back in a back four - arguably only Gillespie could do it.

We've got decent squad cover in most positions, but not the full backs.

That's what I'm hoping for. And it has to be a distinct possibility, surely?

This is a *must win* - for Partick.

We should be content with a draw, but what a great Xmas present it would be to go nine points clear of them, and improve on our 15-goal advantage. We must be due a win at Firhill...

Think it is 11 or 12 games since we defeated them,so long overdue a win.Skondras with his rampaging runs down the wing will be a big miss and it will be interesting to see if Canning goes for Gillespie/Lyon or even a3-5-2 with Docherty as wing back?

They will be well up for this and a few times at Firhill we have lost the physical battle,so hopefully that is rectified tomorrow.

Play as we can and we should get some sort of a result;7-8 points for me the minimum from these four games, but no reason why we can't get 9/10 or even 12.

Normal service has been resumed, yet another defeat to add to Mr Cannings appalling win ratio

I think it going to be squeaky bum time again for end of season, any 4 teams could go down

Woeful for the first hour or so. A bit unlucky at the end but if we keep losing goals from set pieces we have nobody to blame but ourselves.

We picked the wrong team:too lightweight in midfield and slow at the back.

It was a game where physical players were needed as we first had to win the battle before playing our football;saying that we still should have won despite all the aimless high balls to Rojano/Templeton.

Too many misplaced passes from the defence, giving the ball away.
Throw-ins??? Nobody seemed to want to receive the ball. Always a short throw-in and frequently lost possession from those.
Keeper's kick-outs often out of play. Why??

We looked lightweight today with little threat until subs came on, when we were far more threatening.

The goal we lost was a simple tap-in at the far post from a corner. Schoolboy defending.

I would have played Alex Gogic from the start. Far more dig than McMann.

Not looking forward to Killy on Wednedday. There's a team who have been re-organised from a shambles at the start of the season. However, it's the Accies, and the usual highs and lows of unpredictability. :(

No idea. Decided not to go right choice, bought a big cargo and followed the game on twitter. One shot on target from Temps tells it's own story plus the miss after miss from Rojano according to Twitter mind you also tells it's own story. Now back to my beer

First five minutes were promising then we lost our way until the last 25 minutes when we should have equalised. 1-1 would have been a fair result.
Previous posts harsh on McMann and Rojano, by no means the worst. Sarris (at fault for the goal) and Redmond would probably be main contenders for that.
McMann was slack a couple of times made some good tackles, interceptions and runs. Rojano was good at holding off defenders but had no one to lay it off to as the midfield runners didn’t support. I’d have taken Templeton off rather than him.
One of those unfortunate results we deserved better from but we rode our luck last week and a win and loss is better than 2 draws, although this would have been my choice as the win.
Good away support today.
