A little draw would be a nice way to start the season, could be possible with them coming home from a big European tie. Although can only see 0-0 as there's with our one poor striker we are unlikely to score.

4-0 to the sheep.
Rakish to miss at least one sitter.
Bottom of league at time up.
Hope I'm wrong but doubt it.

i believe Gogic is injured so it will be difficult to avoid a heavy defeat, especially without a consistent performer up front. The Dons also appear to be better than last year, despite losing the mid-week tie.

Skondras Sarris Tomas McMann
MacKinnon Donati
Crawford Docherty Templeton
Bingham

Hopefully Aberdeen will suffer a European hangover and we can sneak a draw.

Aberdeen don't look to be fully firing as a team yet, but when they do they'll be an attacking threat. Might be good to play them so early. We'll need to close down the midfield and 100% effort for 90 minutes.

I'd be happy to take a draw today and lose the cup game, given a choice.

Good to see Dundee Kilmarnock Thistle (and hopefully Motherwell) lose their opening games as they will be our bottom six rivals all season long.

C'mon the Accies

For anyone interested in a totally unbiased, fair commentary on the match avoid 810mw Radio Donsland today where you'll find the usual smug all Aberdeen banter from Willie Miller,Rob MacLean, Richard Gordon,,,,,,

Anyone any idea how I can listen to this game whilst abroad? 810 MW seems to be blocked (maybe a rights thing). I've got wifi but desperate to hear the game

I was in Italy last year trying to get the Rangers Accies opener, but had to make do with updates on live texts on BBC sport. Don't think you'll get it on the radio but good luck trying

Yeah well that's a first
As I previously stated it's normally radio Donsland that station.
And a fair contingent of Motherwell also on other programmes like off the ball.
Cowan,Jane Lewis and even the fat weather woman Ralston.
Stopping buying the Sun also due to the abnormally high Motherwell content from their fan reporters.
The rag has been pish since they ditched page3 anyway.

Yet another last minute goal!!! It didn't really matter yesterday, we were beat anyway but already this season we have lost a late goal in three out of five competitive games.

Yes that's been an Accies trait throughout Martin's tenure unfortunately.
That and losing games, losing games from winning positions, drawing games from winning positions, losing games, dropping points from winning positions, losing games and just losing in general.
Martin is doing a fine job as we are the smallest club in the division, with the smallest budget and the smallest support.
Oh,and Martin regularly punches above his weight too.

Watched the highlights for the game, the Tomas red card was barely a yellow and Imrie missed a good chance in the 6 yard box. Just our luck I suppose.

One thing that irritates me with defenders and it's when they get caught out of position and go for the cheap arm out pull back option. Awful. What was Tomas thinking?

Looks terribly clumsy.
Should fit in well then.
