Amazing achievement, the youngest squad in the tournament with only four players aged 17 beat Dynamo Moscow 2-1 in the final, who had 13 players aged 17!

Good to see young Lewis Smith score in the final and end up joint top Accies scorer on four goals. He was featured in The Sun's one to watch recently where he said he was a lifelong Accies fan.

The Club's ethos about developing their own talent continues to be successful. Resources of Moscow Dynamo MUST be far greater than ours, and for our next generation of first team players, this is great news for us all.

Look forward to seeing the trophy being displayed with the team at the first home game of the season.

Well done to all involved in this success.

On another note, what the hell is going on at Charlton Athletic? They were thrashed in all three 40 minute games - 6-0, 8-0 and 9-0. I thought that they maybe had a younger side but we were the youngest in the tourney.
