WAC wrote:Rumours starting. That woods has left .would explain why we are looking for a keeper .

Can't blame him, he made some miraculous saves for us last season then swept aside when Remi came back.

I don't know where they are getting the info from but Bradford supporters seem pretty confident Ali Crawford will sign for them, also been told he hasn't gone on the pre season camp in Spain so that only adds to the speculation.

Not quite, Woods got an injury and Remi, who had been fit but on the bench, came back in and stayed in even when Woods got fit again. I'd be surprised if he's gone, he'd surely be first choice.

Daily Record advising Brophy and Woods have been released. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/foot ... r-10703079

If this is correct, then we are short of two first team goalkeepers with only a couple of weeks to the start of the BF cup games and a month away from the league start? Woods away.... WHY???

Unless, there are trialist goalkeepers at NDP??? ( written more in hope than expectation  )

Don't see Brophy going as any real loss. Never quite delivered what we were promised.

What on earth is going on? Down five players, no new signings, nothing to get the fans up for a new season.

That's not true, Woods was on the bench for Remi' return, so he couldn't have been that badly injured. Can't blame the guy for wanting to be first choice keeper somewhere. Hopefully Norwich will show some pity on our situation and throw us a bone with Remi back if Woods has indeed left us.

Farewell Brophy, never rated him, better suited lower down the leagues IMO.

I seen Mikey Devlin today at the stadium on his crutches, poor kid.
Our skeleton squad is starting to look more brittle now, Skondras could've had a stormer of a season after getting match fit, Devlin will take a long time to recover, we really do need to recruit wisely.

oh and for those bothered, I was told today that the home kit IS definitely changing, no decision on the away kit though.

No official confirmation of Brophy's departure.
I always felt he and Docherty worked well together in the team, from their time in the development squad.
With Greg established in the first team now and D'Acol away, this should have been the season he proved his potential as an SPFL striker...he may still do so.
His attitude would appear to be his downfall, thinking he's better than Accies before he's even in the team.
If he got his head down and was focused, he'd be worth keeping for next season.

I think my attitude would stink if I had to sit and watch Rakish Bingham starting every week.

Woods is definitely with the squad in Spain. Images of him tweeted by the club's official account within the last hour.

Maybe the report of Brophy's departure is just as reliable?

Genuinely want him to go. Let another U20 have the shot at impact sub striker, Tierney Or Boyd.

Stuart McCall saying that Bradford are going down a different route for a new midfielder but if that fails he'd like to sign Ali. Would be a good move for him and maybe best all round. I like Ali but another season of him starting well then fading away badly and the fans giving him abuse is not something I look forward to.

Very glad to hear that Gary Woods is staying.

Agree about Ali.
Has never had the credit he is due at Accies IMO,
But that aside, would be good for the player and Club to get a deal done .
Would probably stagnate and better to get a fraction of his real worth than nothing at all if he runs down his contract.

One of our trialists.
At LEAST he looks like he has some good touches.

He looks appalling. That is easily the most laughable agent's youtube video I've ever seen. Who decided he was worth a go? But then we have a youth set up that cannot bring though a decent goalscorer in however many years it's been going.

I think Karim Rossi looks good and would bring flare into the team imo.

That's why I said at LEAST he has some good touches haha. If that's his highlights, I'd be scared to see the lowlights.

Isn't it just about time we ditch all this predictable Euro trialist pish and sign an accomplished player or two?
It's all becoming very,very boring.
Would be great to see the 250k UEFA money being splashed but we all know that won't happen.
That will no doubt end up in the junkie fund or another McGowan "project".
