Someone in Larkhall told me, never heard of him, but they were definite. Any ideas?

Rob Kiernan? Highly unlikely and anyway, no thanks!

The likelihood of Rob Kiernan signing must be close to zero. We couldn't afford his wages and surely Rangers would be desperate to get him off their wage bill rather than loan him out and subsidise his wage, however in the unlikely scenario it happened it would be a massive coup and although nothing is guaranteed he would likely be a great signing - the suggestion that someone wouldn't renew their season ticket as a result of signing Kiernan is frankly hard to understand.

Still not 100% sure what the expectations are from most for our signing targets. A common theme is that we should look to the lower divisions but yet not for example Andy Ryan who is 22 and by far the best striker in the lower leagues or we should look to the English non leagues but signing someone who has played at English Championship level is a no go.

For all the usual negativity and outrage that we didn't sign Blair Spittal (from that excellent Dundee Utd team who failed to get promoted) most forget that Accies have already completed 2 bits of seemingly good business for next season with the signings of Templeton and Gogic. I'd hope and expect that more signings will be announced on or around the 1st July when contracts kick in.

It was a joke.

Apologies, never sure these days.

Could have been Keirnan, didn't think of him... that would be a good signing.

Just told "Accies are signing Kearney" when I said who? they said "the defender from Rangers"

Just told in passing so didn't discuss it further, that's why I asked on here. Must have meant Keirnan, but can't comment on whether true or not.

Heard Stefan Scougal was on the radar but soon cooled.
A tad ambitious maybe but well done anyway for trying Les.

Scougal was ready to sign then someone let it slip to St Johnstone that Accies where ready to the lad so they signed him. Les Gray would like everyone to know that Scougal is an arsehole.

Anyway glad in a way it's fallen through as why use funds on a proven player?
Surely much better to go down the Euro dross road again?
I personally can't wait to see this years efforts.
Wagner anyone? Lol.
I'm quite sure Wagner's first touch would better Richard Roy's.

Thought you would have been out of here, by now, Amoutahere1874?

Do you not need to change your name to I.M Bakinhere for this new season?

I reserve the right to attend matches until there is a further downturn in results and then amoutahere.

I wonder if Stephen O'Donnell could be a realistic target. He's leaving Luton on July 1. A very good right back at Thistle. He's probably on a few grand a week down there so perhaps it's unrealistic. We will be coming into the £250,000 due to us from Celtic qualifying for the Champions League group stages but of course so will all the others. Maybe time to push the boat out a la Donati while we are a bit flush and show a bit of ambition rather than hope we'll unearth another Skondras (highly unlikely).

Seen accies twitter have posted a photo of the 'first team' doing the beep test, with the amount of players taking part it looks like we have a good 4/5 on trial.

All we want as supporters, is for some transparency from the club.
Would it absolutely kill them to issue a statement saying "we are trialling numerous individuals in the coming weeks to try and strengthen our squad for the upcoming season" That's ALL It takes to show they are being active, instead of leaving us wondering why/where/who/when.
