Think the games are catching up on Utd, didn't have the same intensity as previous games and Murray was anonymous for large parts of the game.

As with most games an early goal kills teams, and opens them up for further punishment.

Depth of squad will be tested on Sunday

We should be too good for them on Sunday. Wasn't impressed with Utd last night - their tactics are long-ball over the top and long throw-ins and set-pieces. I know we struggle to defend against this but we should still be too good - they only finished 3rd ffs.

Selection and fitness will be key.
There is a train of thought that u save Templeton until the game is stretched. Gills as holding midfielder perhaps but he will need to raise his game and hopefully Sarris can join the impressive Gogic at the back.

Half the job is done. I feared we'd lose an early goal up there and go down by two or three, leaving us a mountain to climb on Sunday. But that didn't happen. We kept the tie alive, and there's no doubt they have frailties and are tiring.

I don't think really?'s point about them finishing third is relevant, as we were knocked out of the League Cup by Morton, who finished 4th, and who were beaten in the first play off by United. We also lost in the League Cup group to Ayr, and drew twice with Dunfermline in the Scottish - both far worse teams than United.

As long as we can field a plausible defence, I'm optimistic we can win this now. Big Wurzil's spot on - it's about depth of squad, and who gets the first goal.

Some freshness from Docherty and maybe Dacol and Gills might be good with perhaps Bingham Redmond or Templeton able to impact later in the game.

Penalties would be torture but it's going to be all about narrow margins no matter what.

A fantastic team effort, and that's right through the first team set up. Credit to Martin Canning for a tremendous achievement, keeping Accies up for a second season in a row and for our fourth season in the Premier. Unfair to single out individuals but Imrie was immense, no doubt playing through the pain barrier. Skondras barely put a foot wrong and Gogic was a star. Crawford flitted in and out of the game at first but was behind our most threatening moments. Redmond was skilful and even won some headers. Docherty has some future in the game, even without the goal he was great. Remi saved our skin early on, and, one shaky kick aside, was solid. Think the crowd might have been a bit larger than 5027, having watched most of the match back can't see 1000 empty seats. Maybe 5/600. Not the only club to do this. A great day, thanks to everyone. We can now enjoy our summers!

My marks out of ten, what the hell.

Matthews 7
Skondras 8
McMann 7
Gogic 8
Gillespie 7
Imrie 9
Crawford 8
Docherty 8
Redmond 7
Bingham 7
Templeton 5
