Loads of work required over the next 2 weeks if he is to help us after the split. Hopefully on some kind of wage linked to some extent on appearances.

Thought he was horrendous. He could barely run, and he ended up going down injured 2 or 3 times. I had to leave at half-time, but apparently he lasted just as long?

Judging by comments we will be lucky to get half an hour out him for our last game of the season .

You all must have been at a diffrent 20s game to Canning then as he slaughtered most of the 20s players and said to them that Longridge and Templeton were outstanding.

I was there and it was a poor performance overall, maybe a bit of pressure got to them.

Longridge was ok but agree with other comments aprat from his goal Templeton was nothing short of useless

We know he's a puppet that's obvious but in this instance hes just a bloody coward and a down right liar. Templeton was useless and everyone could see that. To say he was outstanding to youngsters who can obviously see he was pish makes him look like the clown he actually is. So easy to criticise youngsters but hasn't the guts to tell 1st team players they were pish.

Mmm, i've never seen Canning make comments before about any U20s game. More fake news perhaps?

Your correct he doesn't comment on 20s games in public. Not fake news, I've told you what he said believe it or don't.

Once he regains fitness,we can play him(last 20 minutes)in the last game of the season to consign Dundee to the play off.

beckfordlodge must have a pal in the U20s.

But quoting private conversations between manager and players - out of context - is not on. We don't know exactly what was said, or why. It should remain private.

Personally I find it extremely unlikely that Canning would have "slaughtered" all the players, yet singled out two older players as "outstanding". Just doesn't ring true.

But then again the same narrative is that Canning is the worst manager in the world etc etc so no amount of exaggeration (or lies, perhaps) have been out of bounds for years.
