One of the reasons I remain optimistic about the future with regards to Accies...not so sure about Brexit, Tory Austerity, Glogal warming etc!

After 2 games in quick succession as well. Maybe we are doing something right after all.

Another great result this afternoon.

Adams got game time but a pity DAcol didn't.

Do any folk on here watch them regularly? Tierney and Cunningham score most weeks yet I don't hear any real clamour to get them in the team. Are they good enough? Should they be in the team instead of Imrie and Kurtaj?

Don't see them that frequently but Cunningham, Hughes and Boyd do stand out at that level. Fitting them into the step up to first team level is far harder to gauge and one that the management have the best perspective on; we need to trust their judgement on it.

What formation do the u-20's play ? is it the old 4-5-1 or Cannings 5 at the back , Genuine question as the board used to say that every age group would play the same formation to make it easier to step up .

I've never seen them play 5 at the back or at the very least it's been a 3 with true wing backs pushed forward. Its usually 4 at the back. Sometimes 1.and sometimes 2 up front.

I think the same way description is more a reference to playing passing and moving as opposed to a concrete formation.

Question

Are the u20's that good? If so is it Canning that is not able to get the best out of them when they step up? Broohey for example.

Or is it they u20's is the level they are at and will be good championship players?

If they are not playing the same formation as the first team! It is another lie exposed from the clowns in charge.

They have played 5 at the back but VERY rare and sometimes reverted to it during a game. It doesn't work the boys, are far more comfortable with a flat back 4.

For 5 at the back to work you need the same settled formation playing that style on a regular basis. The very nature of DEV team football doesnt allow this, I'm actually struggling to remember them playing the same defensive lineup in back to back games.

Have to say apart from Gogic who was excellent yesterday it was the 1st team players included in the starting 11 that let the team down.

I would have thought that you could answer these questions yourself as you appear able to pass detailed comment on the first team without seeing them.

Absolutely brilliant 2-1 win away to the leaders Ross County. A win against Celtic on Thursday means Accies win the league!

Hopefully a decent turn out for a free chance to see a young Accies team win their league - it would be a great achievement with Brophy and McMann more less stepping up from the squad this year. It should be a good game and the Celtic team looked tasty on a recent visit to NDP (cant remember if it was this season or last?). Hopefully this could give the club, players and fans a wee boost for the relegation fight.

Looking forward to this tonight. It's a great night for it and would be great to see tithes win the league. If you can, I'd urge everyone to make an effort to support these boys.

I'm sure it'll come as no surprise but I see our PR has made a balls up on the email advertising this again. First I've received a badly worded hastily written email advising entry through the front door before shortly after a second email to tell me through the turnstiles. Every time we send an email we just look amateur. Just add it to the list of cock ups. So much for Dave MacKinnon going to improve relations with the fans.
