SOS Sir Alex

Postby YeOldeHamiltonian » Sat Mar 11, 2017 7:17 pm

With confidence ebbing away due to terrible results and performances, players arguing with each other and the fans in a collective state of depression,it has to change or we will go down like the sacrificial lambs to the slaughter.

One decision which should be made this week would change everything at a stroke:players would burst a gut,we would put the fear back into our relegation rivals and the fans would return and be galvanised for the run in.

Even if it only to the end of the season, get him back now.Make Canning Assistant if you don't want to sack him. This would also help Sir Alex to regain his reputation in football by keeping us up as I am sure he would.

At a stroke,we would all "believe" again and the bounce would keep us up.It's a no brainer, but sadly we look stuck with this guy until we are down the bottom half of The Championship next season.

I think we all know this is entirely speculative but in the circumstances perhaps no surprise that a link is being made.

However, it appears Alex has suffered from a club applying the strict criteria based on performance that many Accies fans are keen on ie if you don't get results that are expected then you are not good enough and you are out of a job. So on that basis how is a he a candidate for the MC's job ?

If you read into the Alex Neil sacking you'll read that he wasn't actually sacked for results but sack for a boardroom bust up with Delia about the direction the club are going and lost the plot but pocketed 2m quid. He took the press conference then lost the plot. would be funny if he lost it Dumbarton style with a headbutt.

Funny you mention Dumbarton as not many/any one was talking of great leadership and management that day ;)

would be good if he would come back but very unlikely.

I will not be attending another away game and after season ticket wont be back until Canning is sacked :-)
