Poorly set up team for me but with no Devlin, Dax and D'Acol and with Gregg and Ali only just coming back from injuty (and Sarris struggling as well) its no real surprise we struggled today. How Redmond and Brophy start is way beyond me.

Totally agree but unfortunately it aint gonna happen.

For me it going to be us finishing in 12th and going straight down. Even if we somehow make it to 11th I would not fancy our chances against Falkirk, Morton or Dundee Utd

Getting our players back and playing to our strengths will mean we are still fighting here. After the Rangers game we have a break and hopefully gets us closer to our best 11 for the 4 huge games before the split.

Too late for that. That team is lost and requires new leadership

The results v ICT and Killie seem far away and represent the last times we performed to anything like we need to. 451 required and a focus on playing people in their best positions; a wee bit of luck in terms of injuries will help us as well.

Just off the Clyde phone in. Hugh had suggested what if Alex Neil came back and helped Martin.

Now much as I dislike Martin as a manager, I think in the unlikely event this happened, that would totally undermine Martin and I dont think Alex would even entertain it anyway

Don't know what your are taking, R&W1874, but I'd like some of it  I fear that BH is far closer to reality than you are

But, will anything change in the next few days, (as it should)????

Awful today but hearts were excellent from the start. Woods had 4 saves and not even 10 minutes on the clock. Same as Celtic, conceding a cheap goal in injury time when we had 3/4 chances to clear it. The 2nd goal is completely amateurish at best and the 3rd was brilliant.

Just proves the gulf in class between the top 4/5 and the rest. We'd be as well playing a development team next week and keeping our best starting 11 for the games after.

2 weeks on the trot now we've barely laid a glove on the opposition keeper.

It could be worse, we could support Arsenal....imagine how bad that would be, Wenger out!

Realistically get Neil in until the end of the season on a Consultancy basis, he's Canning's friend, so they could easily work together.

On the way in yesterday my mate said to me "is this a mistake going today" and at that point we saw the team with the undropable imrie up front.
We all knew the answer at that point. We didn't even try to lay a glove on them.
Imrie incidentally was at least out the way and didn't make the usual number of mistakes (he would have been further out of the way on the bench mind you).
5 Saturdays in a row away from home against teams playing well - this is now behind us.
We all (team and fans) do need a lift now. If AN was able to assist until the end of the season that would be brilliant however that is obviously a very long shot. Imrie and Donnati in charge?

This logic. Get rid of inexperienced, out of his depth manager for two guys who have never done more than coach some kids.

The logic is this charmer...
Canning is terrible. The club will only replace him with someone cheap and stick with 'promote from within' policy. Hence these guys, who both have what Canning has always missed - Passion and fight and at least know how to coach a winning team.
