Complimentary Buses To Ibrox 4/3/17

Postby AcciesFCSLO » Fri Feb 17, 2017 2:44 am

FYI

The club is delighted to announce that it will fund complimentary buses to the William Hill Scottish Cup Quarter-final match at Ibrox on Saturday 4th March 2017 for supporters with a match ticket. We will also provide complimentary breakfast rolls with tea or coffee prior to departure from the Stadium.

Your support on our cup run has been immense and we hope that this gesture will be well received and help increase the numbers getting behind the team at Ibrox.

Supporters can arrive at the Superseal Stadium from 9.30am for Breakfast rolls; the buses will leave the stadium at 10.45am and return directly after the game.

To book your space on the bus please contact the club on 01698 368650, emailing commercial@acciesfc.co.uk or you can contact our Supporters Liaison Officer Sean McHugh sean@acciesfc.co.uk

Great gesture by the club. Be great to see as many as possible there to hopefully cheer us on to a great victory. There is absolutely nothing to fear in going to ibrox these days.

Coming up from Darlington for this , hope we take a decent support.

I was there at the famous cup victory 30 years ago so it would nice if history can repeat itself. :D

Good to hear. I thought that the gesture wouldn't be taken up on given how easy Ibrox is to get to by train, but it's good seeing that the interest is there. Though I'll still be getting the train

I used to always get the train and underground for ibrox however I'm really seduced by going in a convoy of accies buses and even better buses are parked right at our corner and get straight back out on to the motorway.

Sounds good, this is making me seriously consider going rather than watch from the safety of my couch.

Now on Club Website Full price £22/ £17 concessions/ £7 under 16 yrs. Concession price looks way above what many normally would pay. Probably will put more than a few off with game on TV at home/pub etc. Free transport, free tea and filled roll does mitigate the cost however.

For those who have not seen Rangers beaten in the Cup at home by Accies, this great offer from the Club saves them buying over-priced Rangers catering later. Mind you, they need every last penny to try to survive to the end of the season (again)

Club has been in discussion with RFC since we went through v Dunfermline, We tried to reduce prices to lowest we could get them and this was agreed only this morning.

That corner's usually around 900. Can't see us being allocated any more. I reckon 400/500 Accies fans will be there.

We have been given 1064 tickets.

These are being sold section by section I'm told.

Surely this offer has got to be plastered all over the hammy ad . A lot of older accies fans who don't normally attend away games would go now they can get picked up and dropped off at stadium . No reason why we can't sell out this allocation for our best chance to get to hampden in years . Rangers are beatable but still favs . Get a good crowd here and right behind . Forget about clownzos league stats for a few hours at least .

Well done to the Accies for doing this. My only criticism is that they should be putting this about, all over Hammy advertiser and trying to publicize this a bit more, Radio Clyde phone in ???

On the positive side it a decent start by Accies FCLSO lets have some more positive news and a better relationship between fans and board, more communication is defo the way forward, especially so many disgruntled fans
