Someone has given you false info they were never refused a bus.

We asked that all buses leave from the ground together considering the amount of items donated by the club over the years to the various race nights the bus has had you cannot say the club hasn't done its part in supporting the bus, it's not hard a request to ask them to walk no more than 500 yards down a lane for buses to leave from the ground.

Happy to remove your 5 seats frees up as buses are almost full with more to be ordered.

How do you get in this free bus? Just buy a ticket for the game?

Nobody said it was a good record, just pointing out that your post is completely incorrect. You next post proves that no matter what the FACTS are, you'll continue to post according to your own agenda. 2017 right enough.

And Bomber's post shows just how poor our 'support' really is. Absolutely any excuse to slaughter the club/board. If you can't even accept that the free buses are a good gesture then you might as well pack it in, because nothing anyone does will ever be good enough. The club now has to provide buses from random points in the town? For what reason? Because people can't be bothered to get to NDP first? That is dire.

You made a robust point, that was quickly countered with a response. It would be interesting to see a meaningful response to see if you are standing by your original point etc?

I'm not sure that was the point he was making. Without John running the bus, away games would be near impossible for many people: crazy train prices to the highlands, the pain of organising a bus or the price of petrol if you're driving all make it incredibly difficult to go to far away teams if the bus wasn't there. John organises pubs for us to go to and manages to keep the price of the bus relatively low.
What I think Bomber was saying was that the bus should've subsided the Vaults bus as well, as many of us prefer getting that bus than the club's. The big interest in it for this game proves that.
That's not to say that the club don't provide stuff for the bus, though it would've been a nice touch if they subsided it for Ibrox.

I think you are blinded by the facts here.

The club are providing the opportunity EVEN for those who normally travel on a 'Vaults' bus, to travel fully subsidised by a 100% contribution i.e FREE. to Ibrox, plua a tea and breakfast roll beforehand at NDP. It might mean that the normal bus hirer would loose out, unless he/they have the initiative to speak to the club and offer their bus as one of the next to be hired (at the same price or less than Accies are paying for the others).

Communication seems lacking here, but anyone with a commercial head should see the opportunities for all to get what they wanted.

Vaults bus hirer contacts Accies & offers bus for hire so does not loose out on loss of income for this game.
Some Fans then travel on their normal Vaults bus to Ibrox.
Accies get a bus hirer who is dependable being used regularly

Has anyone considered that the walk from the Vaults to NDP is probably less than the walk from a bus drop-off to Ibrox Park? And how much more hassle it is if travelling by train/underground/ or private car??

Seems a small price to pay for what is an excellent free offer from the Club. It's hardly surprising that the BOD wonder on occassions why they bother when such petty reactions surface in situations such as this.

There are few enough of us supporting Accies. For F***s sake, see sense and work together to get a solution.

I reckon a complaint is in order as this thread has become "busophobic".This pandering to those road user minorities has rendered the need for a free Football Special train from Hamilton West obsolete.

Now,those of us who will be frequenting the train will have to be wary of the demon of demons-the West of Scotland Saturday shopper.

Boots will have to be worn once we leave our Homebase for the train;we better not have to suffer a Quiz over loyalty points, but let's get all the train bodies together as "every little helps" when dealing with those shoppers who wish to send us train dwellers to Iceland. We were after all only letting "the train take the strain".

well hopefully to get it back to the title...

anyone know how the sales have gone?

I got 8 seats - by the way the post code was asked for regarding the tickets (got asked this also for my Celtic tickets) - not the buses.

I usually drive to games but went on the convoy to Dundee for the quarter final 8 or 9 years ago and decided to take the bus for the experience (and to avoid the delays getting home)

Glad something has been sorted out for the HAFSWO bus because that does really serve a purpose week in week out.

Feeling a lot better about Saturday after the weekend games. Docherty being back is a relief.

Post code for tickets is compulsory now up here. They've been doing this down south for a few seasons now.
