Message to Board

Postby sectiona » Thu Jan 12, 2017 2:31 pm

The club read this page.
The supporters of Hamilton Academical Football Club would like a meeting to be arranged with the board to discuss various goings on, on an off the park at the moment.

List anything that would you like to be addressed.

Online Shop Orders

People have been buying items from the club shop, these items never arrive and have had to resort to getting their money back from pay pal. No communication from the shop or club on there items.

What is a successful manager

Please quantify what is expected of the clubs manager in terms of win's. (two wins for half a session is this ok)

Budgets

We hear this line of "smallest budget" in the league on a.weekly basis , yet we can afford to have numerous amount of the owners friends on the payroll who must all take reasonable salaries.

Also who sanctions signings like diaby, Roy and mandiagu ??? Or is this another case of bank handers for your mates in signing on fees ??

You have maintained top league football for 6 out the last 7 seasons with average home crowds a third less then the next lowest support in the league, given supporters the lowest season ticket prices in the division and run one of the best youth systems in the country - is it only possible because you (the BoD) have no interest in the footballing side of the club?

Is it true that all the young players have a convicted fraudster and money launderer as their agent? If so, why? Who is advising them? Are we expected to believe young kids are left to their own devices in these matters? And who is benefitting from joke signings like Roy, Mandiangu, Diaby, etc?

1)Why are we still employing a Manager with the worst record in British football(St.Mirren the nearest)
2) Why do the BOD only meet fans who are hand-picked and not the general support?
3)Why do we still have the situation halfway through the season with Naeful Bacs?
4)When will they stop pandering to Old Firm fans/Hospitality Old Firm fans
5) When is there going to be a meeting where ALL can attend to clear the air.

Its not really a matter of being 'happy'. We are fighting relegation so its not about happiness; its perhaps more if you accept factoring into the equation the footballing and financial position and try and support us through it. We might not make it, but the folk certain we wont make it this season were saying the exact same thing last year, so the certainties and blacks and whites don't really capture the full position.

Can anyone provide detail of any manager who has an exact win ratio set for them? Either over a season or straddling over 3 separate seasons as seems to be the fashion currently - presumably as it avoids having to mention that the certain relegation last year wasn't certain after all.

Another forum would be good; and the commercial and communications criticisms of the club I think genuinely have agreement from a lot of fans.

It's been a frustrating season where with the ability to see games out we could quite easily be sitting with similar points to St Johnstone so to be sitting 2nd bottom then no, however we have been competitive in all but 90 minutes of football and we are far from detached. No other teams that have sat in the same position as Accies currently do (Dundee / Partick / Ross County / ICT) have sacked their manager and the fact that neither have Accies certainly doesn't indicate to me that there is any desire to be relegated.

There is some really good questions on this thread that should be asked, the shame is that they only get addressed because of poor results rather than a real desire for clarity - if the referee had blown for the foul on Donati against Motherwell on the lead up to the equaliser that he would have usually done 9 times out of 10 we wouldn't be having this conversation although admittedly it would have only been delayed until the next defeat.

If individually anyone wants to talk to Les he is easily accessible, particularly at under 20 games. Collectively; it appears media campaigns with an uber negative take can be orchestrated or any number of conspiracy theories can be generated and publicised etc. ; but apparently no sensible group has felt strongly enough to organise and make a specific approach to the club to engage on a common sense level. - and it also appears that by some magic all 'members' of these (sometimes) anonymous groups have been left out of the last few quasi forums - by means unknown other than to the conspiracy theorists perhaps?

I was not criticising the anonymity, the point I was making is how could the club know who to exclude from these events when a lot of it is anonymous, as has been alleged/imagined?

To be fair - the tickets for this event were 'given' to the first 100 season ticket holders to apply. If you believe that the club in some way screened the applicants I think you are giving them far to much credit since they seem totally disorganised in all other dealings with the fans

Some excellent and very relevant questions which deserve answered posted so far. I'd like to see them answered at an open fans forum we can all attend rather than see the minutes of a meeting. We are all there for home games so why not hold it before or after a home game in the function suite and even open up the bar and make a few quid.

As an aside these are the questions our local paper (hammy ad) should be asking but Andy instead would rather suck up to Accies and seemingly rehashing old stories week after week instead of some real journalism.

After the match would be best, lots of questions and to get the answers would take some time. How hard could this be to organise?
