Top of the Development League

Postby Alfie Olek » Tue Nov 25, 2014 5:10 pm

Just back from NDP where our development team soundly beat Aberdeen 4 - 1 courtesy of a Brophy hat trick and a strike from Craig Watson to go top of the development league over Aberdeen on goal difference. The score probably flatters Aberdeen because I think they only had 2 shots on goal, scoring from one, and we dominated proceedings hitting the bar twice and their keeps pulling off a couple of good saves. I don’t think Brophy could undertake the Curier holding role on his own up front but if we can change our shape to accommodate him he must be worth start. Longridge, Routledege and Devlin featured with Hill in goals. The future looks good. Derek Adams in attendance as an interested spectator.
