The Scottish League Cup has been the third major trophy in Scottish football since the end of the Second World War.
It's a major trophy.
I saw us lose in the semi final in 1979 at East End Park, the closest we've come to a Hampden final, and to a major trophy win, in my lifetime (and in the lifetimes of anyone under 80).
Do you think Ross County, Raith Rovers or Livingston fail to see its relevance?
I'd love to see us win it, or even come close.[/quote]

Can't disagree with any of that.
Win the section and we are in the last 16 (and possibly still seeded)
It's a chance (hopefully) for those having seen Accies against everyone away, to add Edinburgh City to the list.
Although this will be a hard season to remain in the top division, we really should be trying to make an impact in a cup sometime!
