PLAYER OF THE SEASON

Its been a strange old season. Some good games, some bad games, some strange decisions and a some frustration. There have however been a few good performers this season.

Be interested to see who you thought was the best. My vote goes to Ziggy. A few dodgy games,but on the whole pretty solid with a never say die attitude.

Ziggy Gordon, without a doubt. 200% committed every game and never missed one through illness, suspension or injury. One player we will miss next season. Good luck for his future in the game.

Imrie,single candidly carried the team at times.

Ziggy was off-form all season - by his own standards he'll be disappointed because he's capable of much much more.

McGovern should be a candidate - pretty consistently excellent all season.

Imrie was probably my player of the season just for his shear heart and effort - that said he goes off the boil too often.

Most improved player must be Darian McKinnon - yes he sometimes loses the plot and gets too many bookings but when he's focussed and in control he's been great.

Also, the Admin has been running a MOTM poll all season; surely that can be used to give us a gauge of our PotY? Not sure who's top of that.

Dougie, Ali or Michael McG; but Dougie might just swing it.

Gordon had a good few games in the middle where he was well off colour.

I'm torn between Dougie and Ziggy, both by far seem to be the hardest workers in the team with bags of cardio. I'm leaning towards Dougie, as he seems to have more influence on the players at key times.
