2 good and 2 horrendous performances in our last 4 games and Dens is not the ideal place to go before suspensions kick in. So erratic it's hard to say anymore but they have goals and could hurt us again.

Is the poor performances followed by good ones all down to the manager? Or is a legacy of ANs management where he got the players to believe they are better than they are? So, without AN as assertive psychological crutch, when we lose the first goal, especially early in a game everything often seems to fall apart. In the championship I remember we went 4 down to Cowdenbeath before managing to get 3 in the second half. So, the issue was apparent prior to MC. Or is it lack of the managements mental preparation of the individual players, with no accounting for the different persoallalties. I"m just intrigued as to why we can on occasion compete with Celtic on a good day, and get gubbed by Annan on a bad day.

Under Neil, we topped the SPL for weeks. That doesn't suggest that he fooled the players into believing that they are better than they really are. It's more likely that he made them believe they are as good as they are. That hasn't happened for a while....

If we beat dundee and killie beat thistle, we'll move above thistle...that would be nice and make the last game of the season at firhill interesting. Here's hoping.

Hope I'm wrong but that looks like an awful set up. Take Gillespie and Docherty out of the midfield and replace them with Kurtaj and that seems to be it. Is it 5 at the back? Two up top is good but I can see us getting killed in midfield.

Going well and Docherty on for Brophy to toughen up the midfield.

My earlier fears were unfounded.

Well done Martin Canning and well done the players.

Let's give it a few weeks before we start worrying about next season.

We could really turn it on at times today. If we made better decisions going forward, we would've scored a lot more. Brophy was my MotM, but every player played out of their skin. I'm not a fan of Kurtaj and didn't think he had a great game today, but he still have 100%. Docherty came on and had so much energy. Poor at his final ball, though. There were 2 things that made a difference today: every single player put their body on the line today and the fans were behind the team from start to finish. The players knew what was at stake which really showed at the end. Bodies flying everywhere. The fans tried to really back them today which the players were clearly lapping up. If I have one gripe, it's that the players didn't stay and celebrate after the final whistle. We haven't spent more than 3 seasons in a league since we got promoted to the SPL, though. We really need to recruit wisely in the summer and seriously think about Canning's future. Let's establish ourselves in the top flight. Inverness, Ross County and St Johnstone have done it; why not us?!

After the horror that was Aberdeen away live on BT Sport - what a turn around to beat Dundee home and away; and Dundee Utd at Tannadice. 3 out of 4 massive games won at the times of highest pressure, at the business end of the season. MC has been bold in his set ups in all 4 games and can take plaudits from 3 and criticism from 1 - perhaps justa pity that the blip in that 4 game run came at home ?

Enjoyed the game.
Enjoyed the atmosphere.
Enjoyed Dundee losing at Dens.
Enjoyed that despicable wee dick Hartley losing.
Enjoyed winning despite obvious cheating with that disallowed goal - they could at least have tried to be balanced but the officials were dire throughout.
Just an enjoyable day - one of not very many this season.

The officials made the correct decision in the end. Brophy at least two yards offside. That's actual yards, not Martin Canning yards!
