So, so hard to choose. I grew up believing Jamie Fairlie was the greatest Accie ever. My favourite player was George McCluskey. But I think the choice has to be someone who played for us for a long time, and was consistently one of our best, at the highest possible level.
Fairlie still measures up well, but I'm going for Alex Neil.
McCarthy is the most talented player in his post-Accies career, but he was *just* a great prospect with us. Mark Fulton was a great player, but was only with us about a year. I loved Billy Reid as a player, but he wasn't even the best of the team he played in. We've had some great keepers, but none of them are the greatest Accie ever...
