Other Team's Games

Postby redandwhite1874 » Mon Feb 15, 2016 6:04 pm

With us having played more games than a few of our rivals, the results in these games are going to be important for us.

First up is ICT and Aberdeen; but I am not convinced ICT are really in the battle? More important is Dundee United v Well and for me I would like to see United take the points as I think they are probably away and it would be good if they could take points from our opponents.

Similarly, Aberdeen to beat Thistle on Friday would be nice. Dundee to beat Killie and St j to beat Motherwell on Saturday would also be decent?

Yes Aberdeen bottled it again ( although Collum didn't help  ).... But that result doesn't really matter to us .
IMO , ICT are too good a team to be worrying about the bottom two , and will be well away from there by May .
The games involving MFC , KIllie and Thistle will decide where we are when all teams have played the same amount .

down to 9th on GD with Thistle below us by a point with 3 games in hand (not sure who against?)

The Well game is looking massive. They played a 3/5 at the back set up and managed to score 3 goals at Tannadice

United are down now. Annoyed to go below 'Well and you'd imagine Thistle will probably go above us given their extra games but we still have to play both of them at home between now and the split and we'll see how Killie do under Clark. Still 4 teams that have a big chance of going down and St Johnstone might get dragged into it too. Exciting but we need to get our act together and especially at home.

That's cause they played the way your supposed to with 5 at the back two attacking full backs getting high and wide causing other teams problems and have the sitting midfielder help the 3 centre backs but lets face it were playing with 5 defenders

We are going down and would not be surprised in it was automatic. the results in our last two games are proof of this. With PT getting 3 points moves them head with a lot of games in hand.

Killie's next 2 games are Aberdeen away and Celtic at home so hopefully they will avoid a new manager bounce with that wee run :)

On to tomorrow night with defeats for United and Thistle on the menu please.

A draw between Well and United ? Or a Well win to keep United almost out of the picture?

The were all right jack attitude of our BOD in Jan not changing gaffer or brining in quality as they thought Dundee United were down. This is going to come back and bite us in the ass the form tables don't lie.

Which form tables are not lying? We are not bottom or second bottom over the last 6 or 8 games?

Killie and United are real dangers but their form doesn't have them necessarily catching us; albeit form is a bit false once the bottom 6 fixtures are confirmed.

Thistle didn't do us a favour today and we look to them again in midweek when they take on United. That said, a win tomorrow and we can afford not to care
